Product Description

This newly designed glass panel wireless touch smart curtain switch offers advanced control with its WiFi+RF capabilities. It easily replaces traditional switches and integrates with the Tuya Smart Life App. New features include multi-control association with other smart switches, and control over backlight and relay status when power is off. Its scratch-resistant glass panel complements various decoration styles.

Installation

Note:

• Ensure power at the circuit breaker is OFF before wiring.
• A neutral wire is required. Confirm your wall box contains one (typically white). If not, choose another location or consult a professional electrician.
• Wire colors in this manual are typical and may vary.
• Ensure wire conductors are securely fastened.
• Verify a steady Wi-Fi signal before wiring.
• If you lack wiring experience, please call a professional electrician.

Installation Steps:

1. Step 1: Power Off and TestTurn off the circuit breaker. Use an electrical tester to confirm power is off.
2. Step 2: Wiring ConnectionsRemove the existing wall plate. Turn power back on at the breaker and use the electrical tester to identify the line wire (it will flash/chirp). Turn power off again. Pull the existing switch out, label the line wire and other wires. Disconnect wires using pliers.

   Wiring Diagram Description: The diagram shows a smart switch with terminals for Line (L), Neutral (N), UP, and DOWN. Incoming power connects to L and N. The curtain motor's UP wire connects to the switch's UP terminal, and the DOWN wire connects to the switch's DOWN terminal.

   Follow the diagram to connect the switch wires to the wall box wires using wire conductors.

3. Step 3: MountingMount the switch using the provided screws and snap the wall plate into place.
4. Step 4: Power On and TestTurn the power back on at the circuit breaker and test the switch functionality.

Add Devices (App Setup)

1. Download Smart Life App

Search for "Smart Life" in your device's app store (e.g., Apple App Store, Google Play Store) and download the application.

2. Registration or Log in

Open the Smart Life app. Tap "Register" to create an account using your phone number to receive a verification code and set a password. If you already have an account, tap "Log in".

3. Configure the APP to the switch

Preparation: Ensure the switch is powered, your phone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network, and has internet access.

3.1 Wi-Fi Link Method (Pairing):

• Open the Smart Life/Tuya App and tap the "+" icon in the top right corner. A prompt page may automatically appear; click "Go to add".
• Select the device type "Wall Switch" from the "All" category.
• Enter your Wi-Fi password and tap "Next". Wait for the connection to complete.
• Once added successfully, tap "Done" to enter the device page and edit the device name.

How to pair/reset Wi-Fi: Press the switch button 6 times, holding on the 6th press. Release when the blue indicator on the switch flashes rapidly. Pairing/Reset is successful.

3.2 Remote Radio Frequency (RF) Link Method:

• How to pair the RF code: Press and hold the touch button on the switch until you hear "Di" (1 time). Then, press the desired button on your remote control switch. RF pairing will begin.
• How to clear up the RF code: Press and hold the switch button until you hear "Di" (1 time). Continue pressing the button until you hear "Di-Di-Di-Di" (4 times). The RF code for that button is now cleared. Note: This operation clears one button at a time; repeat for other buttons if needed.

3.3 How to achieve multi-control association:

Note: Ensure the curtain switch is successfully added to your Smart Life App via the Wi-Fi method before proceeding.

• Add another smart curtain switch to the same Smart Life/Tuya App.
• Note: This second added switch only requires L and N wiring; it does not need to be wired to the curtain motor.

Voice Control Setup (Amazon Alexa)

1. Set up your Echo speaker with the Alexa App:

• If you have Smart Life installed, open the Amazon Alexa App and log in.
• Click the menu on the top left, then "Settings", and choose "Set up a new device" (select a device like Echo).
• Follow the on-screen prompts. This may involve long-pressing a small dot on your Echo device until the light turns yellow, then clicking "Continue" on the App.
• Choose your Wi-Fi network and wait for a few minutes. After watching an introduction video, click "next step". Your Echo device will now be connected to Wi-Fi.

2. Enter Smart Life Skill in Alexa App:

• Choose "Skills" in the options bar.
• Search for "Smart Life" in the input box.
• Enable the "Smart Life" skill.
• Enter the username and password of your Smart Life APP account that you previously registered.
• You can now use your Alexa device to control your Smart devices.
