Overview
The Honeywell Home T4 Thermostat is a programmable device designed to efficiently control home heating systems. It is compatible with 24-230V on/off appliances such as gas boilers, combi-boilers, and zone valves. Please note, it is not designed for 230V electric heating systems.
Installation Guide
Installation is a straightforward process typically completed in three main steps:
- Step 1: Wire the Thermostat - Select a suitable wall location away from heat sources and run cables from the boiler. Ensure the mains power is switched off by a competent person before wiring.
- Step 2: Power Up and Test - After wiring, power up the thermostat and the heating system. Perform a quick functional test to confirm the thermostat correctly switches the boiler on and off based on temperature demand.
- Step 3: Configure the System - Access the advanced menu to set specific parameters for your heating system, including language, heating cycle rate, temperature limits, and schedule options.
Installation must be performed by a competent person, prioritizing safety by ensuring the mains power is OFF before accessing wiring.
