Thank you for purchasing a Mark-10 WT-205 / WT-205M wire crimp pull tester, designed for applications up to 200 lbF (1,000 N). With proper usage, we are confident that you will get many years of great service with this product. Mark-10 instruments are ruggedly built for laboratory and industrial environments. Please read through this quick start guide and the complete user's guide before using the tester.

IMPORTANT SAFETY CONSIDERATIONS

Wire crimp pull testers are sensitive instruments that must be treated with care. Please review the yellow safety information card included in the box, as well as the safety information provided in the user's guide prior to operating the tester.

POWER

Model WT-205

Press the ▶️ [power button] to power on the tester. Press and hold to power off. The tester may be powered either by the internal rechargeable battery or an AC adapter. The battery will last approximately 7 hours with the backlight turned on, or 24 hours with the backlight turned off.

Model WT-205M

Plug one end of the power cord into its receptacle at the rear of the tester and the other end into a wall outlet with local earth ground (3-prong connector). Then, toggle the power switch adjacent to the power cord receptacle. Follow all safety information provided in the user's guide.

Installing MESUR® Software

MESUR® Lite

Free basic data acquisition application, for data tabulation and exporting to Excel.

MESUR®gauge Plus

Data tabulation, graphing, analysis, and reporting, with user-configurable start and stop triggers and other tools. Free 90-day evaluation period.

PC requirements

Compatible with PCs running Microsoft Windows 7 or later, with minimum monitor resolution of 1108 x 758. A USB or RS-232C serial port is required. If USB communication is required, install the Mark-10 USB driver. Installation instructions may be found in the applications' user's guide. A download link is provided on the next page.
