Assembly Instructions
Follow these steps carefully to assemble your HG 1/144 RX-0 Unicorn Destruction Mode model kit. Ensure all parts are correctly identified before proceeding.
Part Preparation
- Identify all parts from the sprues.
- Carefully remove parts from the sprue using a hobby nipper. ✂️
- Trim any excess plastic (gate marks) for a clean fit.
- Organize parts by number and section as indicated in the diagrams.
Body Assembly
This section covers the construction of the main torso and core structure.
- Assemble the torso frame by connecting parts [A1] and [A2].
- Attach the front and back torso armor pieces [B1] and [B2] to the frame.
- Connect the waist joint [C1] to the torso.
- Assemble the head unit, ensuring the psycho-frame is correctly positioned.
- Attach the head to the torso.
Arm Assembly
Constructing the left and right arms.
- Assemble the shoulder joint [D1] and attach it to the torso.
- Connect the upper arm piece [E1] to the shoulder joint.
- Attach the forearm piece [F1] to the upper arm.
- Assemble the hand unit [G1] and attach it to the forearm.
- Repeat steps 6-10 for the other arm.
Leg Assembly
Building the left and right legs.
- Assemble the hip joint [H1] and attach it to the waist.
- Connect the thigh piece [I1] to the hip joint.
- Attach the lower leg piece [J1] to the thigh.
- Assemble the foot unit [K1] and attach it to the lower leg.
- Repeat steps 11-15 for the other leg.
Backpack and Weapon Assembly
Constructing the backpack, beam rifle, and shield.
- Assemble the backpack unit [L1], including thrusters and binders.
- Attach the backpack to the rear of the torso.
- Assemble the beam rifle [M1], connecting the barrel, stock, and scope.
- Assemble the shield [N1].
- Attach weapons to the designated hardpoints on the arms or backpack.
Unicorn Mode to Destruction Mode Transformation
Detailed steps for transforming the model.
- Carefully extend the psycho-frame parts on the head, arms, and legs.
- Reveal the red psycho-frame by unfolding armor panels as shown in the diagrams.
- Ensure all transformation locks are engaged correctly.
- The model is now in Destruction Mode.
Final Touches and Decals
Applying stickers and final adjustments.
- Apply provided stickers or waterslide decals to enhance detail. Refer to the decal placement guide.
- Ensure all parts are securely attached and joints are functional.
- Pose the model as desired.
