04. BIGBIG WON ELITE APP

The BIGBIG WON Elite APP allows for real-time customization of your BIGBIG WON ELITE device. You can adjust AURORA RGB backlight effects, configure macro and Turbo settings, and update firmware.

Note: If you use quick settings after app customization, the settings may change and become incompatible with the app. The next time you launch the app, it will automatically read the controller's settings and generate an "unnamed" configuration.

05. Connection

The RAINBOW S is a wired controller and only supports wired connections via the TYPE-C USB cable.

Note: The RAINBOW S supports Xinput mode and Switch mode. Please switch to the corresponding mode after connecting to the console.

Default Mode: Xinput Mode.

For Steam: When connecting to Steam, select "Settings > Controller > General Controller Settings > Xbox Controller Support" in Steam. If Xbox Controller Support is not selected, you may not be able to control the game.

For Switch: Before connecting to the Switch, please turn on "Settings > Controllers and Sensors > Pro Controller Wired Communication". If wired communication is not enabled, the controller will not work with the Switch.

06. Mode Switching

The RAINBOW S supports Xinput mode and Switch mode. Please switch to the corresponding mode after connecting to the console.

• Xinput Mode: Press and hold the B button and the Home button simultaneously for 3 seconds. The indicator will turn green.
• Switch Mode: Press and hold the A button and the Home button simultaneously for 3 seconds. The indicator will turn red.

07. AURORA RGB Backlight Effects

The RAINBOW S supports various AURORA RGB backlight effect combinations. Press the FN button twice to switch or turn off the light effects.

Experience full RGB customization and deeper immersion with 16.8 million colors, countless combinations, and various quick effects. You can select your preferred quick effect or create dynamic custom effects using the BIGBIG WON Elite app.

08. Mapping Function

The RAINBOW S is equipped with two programmable back buttons (M1/M2) that can be configured with the mapping function.

• Setting Mapping: Press and hold the FN button, then press the M1/M2 back button simultaneously. The indicator will blink green, entering mapping function setting mode. Press the front button you wish to map to M1/M2. The indicator will blink green twice, completing the function setting.
• Canceling Mapping: To cancel the mapping function for a specific button (M1/M2), press and hold that button, then double-click the FN button. The indicator will blink green twice, and the mapping function for the corresponding button will be canceled.
• App: Quick settings only support mapping controller button values to the M1/M2 back buttons. After downloading the app, you can configure all controller button values within the app.

09. TURBO Function

The RAINBOW S supports the TURBO function. The buttons that can have the TURBO function set are: A/B/X/Y/LT/RT/LB/RB.

• Setting TURBO: Press and hold the FN button, then press the desired button simultaneously. The 2nd or 3rd indicator will flash orange, indicating the TURBO function is enabled for that button. When the TURBO function is active, the 2nd or 3rd indicator will flash according to the TURBO frequency.
• Canceling TURBO: To cancel the TURBO function for a specific button, press and hold that button, then double-click the FN button. The 2nd or 3rd indicator will stop flashing, and the TURBO function for the corresponding button will be canceled.
• TURBO Frequency: Press and hold the FN button, then press the Left Arrow key to cycle through three TURBO frequency modes: 5/10/20 times per second. The default is 5 times per second.
• App: Quick settings only support TURBO settings for the 8 buttons (A/B/X/Y/LT/RT/LB/RB). After downloading the app, you can configure TURBO settings for all controller buttons within the app.

10. Macro Function

The RAINBOW S supports the macro function. The buttons that can have the macro function set are: A/B/X/Y action buttons, L/R buttons, Left/Right Triggers, Directional Pad (Up/Down/Left/Right), LS/RS buttons, Left/Right Joysticks. Each macro set must be linked to an M1/M2 back button as the activation switch.

• Recording Macro: Press and hold the FN button and the M1/M2 back button simultaneously for 3 seconds. The indicator will breathe red, entering record mode. After recording the sequence, click the FN button. The indicator will flash red twice, completing the record.
• When a macro is executed, the function indicator will flash from left to right.
• Canceling Macro: To cancel the macro function for a specific button, press and hold that button, then double-click the FN button. Indicator 2 will flash red twice, and the macro function for the corresponding button will be canceled.
• App: Quick settings only support simple macro function settings. For advanced macro function customization (e.g., duration, interval time), please configure it in the BIGBIG WON Elite app.

11. Motion Control Function

BIGBIG WON has developed GYROCON+ technology, enabling motion aim functionality. While in use, you can aim by simply tilting the controller, similar to using a joystick.

With precise motion control assistance, you can aim incredibly fast, leading to a new level of operability, especially in FPS and racing games.

Motion Control Modes:

There are a total of three motion control modes: Left Joystick Motion Control, Right Joystick Motion Control, and Right Joystick Responsive Motion Control.

1. Left Joystick Motion Control Mode: Press and hold the FN button, then press the L3 button.
2. Right Joystick Motion Control Mode: Press and hold the FN button, then press the R3 button.
3. Right Joystick Responsive Motion Control Mode: Press and hold the FN button and the R3 button simultaneously while holding down the button you wish to set.

App: Quick settings only support turning motion control functions on/off. For better performance, customization via the BIGBIG WON Elite APP is recommended. Using motion control requires the BIGBIG WON Elite APP.

Note: This function differs from the gyro sensor/accelerometer of Joy-Con™ and Nintendo Switch Pro controllers. If it works on Switch, please turn off motion control.

12. SWITCH Gyro Sensor

Many games on the Switch console support gyro control by default. This controller can provide motion control without any additional settings. Therefore, there is no need to turn on the analog gyro sensor; ensure the analog gyro is turned off when in use.

13. Gyro Calibration Method

Place the controller on a horizontal table and press FN + Triangle button. The four LED indicators will light up and slowly breathe. After the LED indicators flash and stop flashing, calibration is complete.

14. Hair Trigger Mode / Function

The RAINBOW S supports the hair trigger function. Hair trigger mode significantly reduces the trigger actuation distance, allowing you to execute commands at high speed for an advantage.

• Hair Trigger Mode On/Off: Press and hold the Triangle button, then press the Left/Right Triggers simultaneously. The indicator will flash blue twice, indicating the Left/Right Triggers are in hair trigger mode.
• To cancel the hair trigger mode for the Left/Right Triggers, press and hold the Triangle button and the Left/Right Triggers (which are already in hair trigger mode) simultaneously. The indicator will flash blue twice.
• App: Quick settings only support turning hair trigger mode on/off. For advanced hair trigger function customization, please configure it in the BIGBIG WON Elite app.

15. Analog Stick and LT/RT Trigger Calibration

If your joystick drifts severely or cannot be pressed to its maximum value, or if the triggers cannot reach their maximum linear value automatically, you can try calibrating the joysticks and triggers. Follow these steps:

1. Press and hold View and Menu simultaneously for 3 seconds. All four LED indicators will light up.
2. Push the joysticks to their maximum extent and rotate them uniformly (repeat 3-5 times).
3. Press the LT/RT triggers to their maximum and release them (repeat 3-5 times).
4. Press View and Menu simultaneously again. The LED indicators will flash twice, indicating calibration is complete.

17. Audio

The RAINBOW S supports 3.5mm audio.

Adjust the volume by pressing and holding the FN button, then pressing the Up/Down buttons on the directional pad. (*This function is only supported on Windows 10/11).

18. Motor Vibration Strength Adjustment

The RAINBOW S allows you to adjust vibration strength across 4 levels.

Press and hold the FN button, then press the Right button on the directional pad to adjust the vibration strength of the trigger motors. The vibration strength cycles through 4 levels: Strong (default) / Medium / Weak / Off.

19. One-Touch Reset

Press and hold the HOME button for 10 seconds until the controller vibrates. This will successfully reset the controller's settings.
