- Low-power protection: When the drone's battery power is less than 20%, the drone will trigger the one-key return function.
- Lost-of-control protection: The drone will trigger one-key return after 3 seconds of disconnection. If the drone successfully reconnects during return, it will hover in the air.
- Out-of-control protection: After the horizontal tilt angle is greater than 80 degrees for 0.5 seconds, the drone will lock automatically and fall directly.
Connection
Connection Between the Remote Controller and the Drone
The remote controller and the drone are paired at the factory and can be controlled after being powered on. If you replace the remote controller, it needs to be re-paired. The pairing steps are as follows:
First, insert the battery into the drone, short press the battery switch, and then long press the battery switch again for 7 seconds. The battery indicator will be always on, and the drone is turned on.
Then, press down the middle key of the right stick and the Power Button together for a long time to enter the binding state (Pic 1). The four footlights will flash, and the remote control power lights will flash slowly.
Finally, the remote control will emit a short "di" sound, the power lights will be always on, and the drone's four footlights will be always on. The drone and the remote control are now bound successfully.
Diagram Description: An illustration labeled "Pic 1" showing the remote controller with specific buttons highlighted for the binding process.
Connection Between the Drone and the App
First: Turn on the drone, enter your mobile phone's "Settings" interface, go to WiFi settings, find the "Dreamer 1_XXXXXX" network, and connect.
Second: Open the "Potensic Pro" App on your mobile phone and enter the control interface.
Geomagnetic Calibration
The drone has been calibrated at the factory for normal operation. If the drone's geomagnetism is disturbed, re-calibration may be needed. The steps are:
- First: Enter the Potensic App settings interface, click on the second column, and select "Geomagnetic Calibration". The left front and left rear lights will start to flash slowly, indicating the calibration program has started.
- Second: Rotate the drone 360 degrees horizontally. The right front and right rear lights will start to flash slowly (Pic 1).
- Third: Rotate the drone 360 degrees vertically. The aircraft's 4 LED lights will remain constantly on. Calibration is then finished (Pic 2).
- Fourth: If the 4 LED lights continue to flash slowly, calibration has failed. It is suggested to change to a new take-off place and perform calibration again.
Diagram Description: Illustrations labeled "Pic 1" and "Pic 2" showing the drone's orientation during geomagnetic calibration.
Gyroscope Calibration
During flight, if the drone's flying direction deviates significantly, place the drone on a horizontal flat surface and start gyroscope calibration.
- First: Open the App and click the calibration icon [settings-icon].
- Second: Choose "Gyroscope Calibration". The drone will enter calibration status, and its 4 LED lights will flash slowly for 3 seconds. Pop-ups will display a calibration successful tip.

Take-off and Landing
Safety Flight Tips
Beginner mode is the default mode of operation for this product. In Beginner mode:
- Flight Distance Limitation: 0-30m
- Flight Altitude Limitation: 0-30m
Unlocking and Taking Off
Unlock the drone first: Push the left stick down-right and the right stick down-left together (Pic 1) to unlock the drone, or click the unlock key [unlock-icon] on the App.
Then, long press the "take off and land" key [power-icon] for 1 second. You will hear a short "di" sound, or click the takeoff icon on the APP. The drone will then fly up slowly and hover at an altitude of about 1.2 meters.
Diagram Description: An illustration labeled "Pic 1" showing the remote controller with specific stick movements indicated for unlocking the drone.
Return to Home (RTH)
The Intelligent Return (RTH) function enables the aircraft to return to the final recorded take-off point. This function must be realized under GPS mode. There are three types of intelligent return flight modes: One-button return, Low-Power return, and Lost-of-signal return.
- One-button return:
- Remote Control: Long press the "HOME" key [home-icon] on the remote control. You will hear a continuous "di" sound. Then, the drone will auto-fly back. Long press the "HOME" key again to exit auto-return, and the "di" sound will stop.
- App Control: Click the "HOME" icon [home-icon] on the APP to start One-button return. Click the cancel icon [cross-mark] to cancel auto-return.
- Intelligent Return (Low Power): When the aircraft's power is less than 20%, it will automatically start the return mode. The remote control will emit "di" sounds, the battery power icon flashes on the App, and the Return icon lights up when the drone is flying back. The drone system judges the need for auto return based on distance and battery power. When returning, its 4 LED lights continue to flash slowly until it lands.
- Lost-of-Signal Return: When the drone loses connection with the remote control, it will auto-fly back to 30m away from the controller. The drone can reconnect the remote control while flying. You then need to operate the throttle stick to let it land. You can push the left and right sticks inwards 45 degrees to lock the motors.
Note: The aircraft does not have an obstacle avoidance function. If the drone hits a building or obstacle during auto-return, it will fall.
Headless Mode
Note: The operator's position is crucial for "headless mode" when the frequency is aligned. Therefore, after entering "headless mode", do not change the operator's orientation.
How to Start Headless Mode: Place the drone on the ground with its head forward and back against you, then pair the drone with the remote control. Click the headless mode button on the App to enter headless mode, and click the headless mode icon again to exit.
Under the Headless Mode: The forward direction is the direction the pilot faces when pairing the drone with the transmitter. If the pilot pushes the direction stick forward/backward, the drone flies forward/backward. If the pilot pushes the right stick left/right, the drone flies left/right relative to the pilot. It is important that the pilot does not change positions or facing direction, as this can cause confusion.
Diagram Description: Illustrations showing the correct orientation for headless mode (keep same orientation) and incorrect orientations (don't change orientation) with checkmarks and crosses.
Orbit Flight Mode
Click the orbit icon [orbit-icon] to enter Orbit Mode (Circle Flight). Under normal flight conditions (altitude > 5 meters), the aircraft defaults to the current position as the center, with a 10-meter radius, flying at 3m/s in a clockwise direction.
Diagram Description: A map interface showing the drone's position and a circular flight path, indicating the drone is in Orbit Mode.
Following Flight Mode
Click the following icon [follow-icon] to start the Following Mode. Normal flight altitude must be more than 5 meters, and the GPS signal must be greater than or equal to 6 stars. The drone will follow the mobile phone.
Diagram Description: A map interface showing the drone following a mobile phone icon.
Way-point Flight Mode
Click the waypoint icon [waypoint-icon] to start the Way-point Mode. Set several position points on the map, and the drone will fly according to the set points. Up to 1-15 position points can be set, each marked with its serial number on the map. Normal flight altitude is over 5 meters, GPS signal is at least 6 stars. The aircraft flies to the designated points via the shortest path according to the ordinal number of points and finally hovers at the last designated point.
