Monster ICON Quick Start Guide

Connect Power & Charge

Description: This section provides instructions on how to connect the Monster ICON speaker to a power source and begin charging.

Instructions:

  1. Connect the power cable to the speaker.
  2. Plug the cable into a wall outlet.
  3. The ICON speaker will automatically begin to charge.
  4. Press and hold the Power button [power-symbol] to turn the speaker on.

BEFORE FIRST USE: Charge the unit for 5 hours. When fully charged, the RED LED will stay solid. When low on battery, the RED LED will flash rapidly.

Manual Bluetooth Pairing

Description: This section details the steps to pair your music device with the Monster ICON speaker via Bluetooth.

Instructions:

  1. Activate Bluetooth function on your music device.
  2. Place your music device and speaker within pairing range (approximately 3 ft).
  3. Press and hold the Bluetooth button [bluetooth-symbol] on the speaker to enter pairing mode (flashing BLUE LED).
  4. Connect to "MONSTER ICON" on your music device.
  5. The speaker will automatically connect to your music device (solid BLUE LED).

EZ-SYNC Wireless Connection (Additional Speaker Sold Separately)

Description: This section explains how to connect two Monster ICON speakers wirelessly using the EZ-SYNC feature for a stereo experience.

Sync Together & Play Two ICON Speakers

Instructions:

  1. Connect your music device to one speaker via Bluetooth. This will be the Transmitting speaker.
  2. Double-click the BT button [bluetooth-symbol] on the Transmitting speaker to enter sync mode (BLUE AND ORANGE LED next to the EZ-SYNC button will alternate flashing). The Transmitting speaker will automatically search for the nearest EZ-SYNC compatible speaker to connect to.
  3. When both speakers are connected, the Transmitting speaker's Blue LED will BLINK, while the Receiving speaker's Orange LED will stay SOLID.
  4. Speakers must be no further than 30ft apart for EZ-SYNC to work.
