Connections
CAMERA-OSD SWITCH CONNECTION
Diagram shows a 7-pin harness connecting to the camera back. The pins are labeled VCC (5-35V DC), GND, VID (Video Out), AUD (Audio Out), OSD, GND, and VSEN (Voltage Sensor). A separate 4-pin connector is for the Video Transmitter. A 2-pin connector is for the OSD Switch board.
The OSD Switch Front is depicted with four buttons labeled UP [⬆️], DOWN [⬇️], LEFT [⬅️], RIGHT [➡️], and a central MENU [☰] button.
CAUTION: If using ESCs with active braking, power the camera system via a BEC or voltage regulator.
CAMERA-VIDEO TRANSMITTER CONNECTION
Diagram shows a 4-pin harness connecting from a Video Transmitter to the Camera. The OSD pin on the camera is left unconnected.
FPV OSD Setup
The OSD (On-Screen Display) can be configured to show information like user name, time, and voltage.
- User Name Setup: Long press the left button [⬅️]. The user name will flicker, allowing you to move its position. Press the center button [☰] to save.
- Time Setup: Long press the right button [➡️]. The time will flicker, allowing you to move its position. Press the center button [☰] to save.
- OSD Info Enable/Disable: Long press the top button [⬆️] to set the user name. You can also enable or disable OSD info separately. Press EXIT [❌] to save.
- Voltage Setup: Long press the bottom button [⬇️]. The voltage display will flicker, allowing you to move its position. Press the center button [☰] to adjust the voltage if it differs from the actual power. Press the center button [☰] again to save.
The OSD displays a character set including numbers (0-9), uppercase letters (A-Z), and common symbols like parentheses, colon, slash, and greater/less than signs. Font size, Name display, Time display, and Power display can be set to ON/OFF.
