Installation
- Ensure the power supply's power cord is unplugged before starting installation.
- Place the power supply into its designated space in the case and secure it with screws.
- Connect the 24-pin power connector to the 24-pin motherboard power socket.
- Connect the 8 (4+4) pin CPU cable to the motherboard's CPU power socket.
- A. If your motherboard has an 8 (4+4) pin CPU socket, connect the 8 (4+4) pin CPU cable directly to the motherboard.
- B. If your motherboard has a 4-pin CPU socket, connect the 4-pin CPU cable directly to the motherboard.
- Connect the PCI-E cable to the graphics card.
- A. Each 6+2 pin PCI-E cable can provide up to 150W, and the motherboard's PCI-E slot will provide an additional 75W to the graphics card. Use an additional 6+2 pin PCI-E cable if your GPU's power consumption exceeds 225W (150W + 75W).
- B. If your graphics card supports a PCI-E 5.0 12VHPWR cable, connect the PCI-E 12V-2x6 cable directly to the socket.
- Connect peripheral and SATA cables to their appropriate sockets.
- Ensure all cables are properly connected and store any unused modular cables for future use.
- Plug the power cord into the power supply and set the power switch to the "I" position to turn on the power supply.
