The Aldes CP 2A GALVA D500/630 is an acoustic and aerodynamic connection designed for ventilation systems. It facilitates the junction and accessibility of vertical collector networks and horizontal networks, improving both acoustics and aerodynamics. The CP2A offers exclusive Aldes technology for reduced fan consumption and 35% less pressure loss compared to standard CP units. It also provides improved acoustic attenuation, reducing fan noise by 7dB(A) compared to standard CP units (3dB(A) better).

Product Description

The CP2A is a galvanized steel connection that joins vertical and horizontal ventilation networks. It ensures accessibility to the vertical column and horizontal network, as required by DTU 68.1 and 68.2 standards. It is particularly suited for columns that exit into attics or terraces of tertiary buildings and collective housing, where waterproofing is completed before the connection is installed (in over 95% of cases). The CP2A features a stop ring on its body to keep the plug stable, minimizing leakage risks. Its aerodynamic characteristics reduce the depression needed by the fan, potentially allowing for the selection of a less powerful, quieter, and more energy-efficient fan.

Installation

• Easy assembly of accessories through interlocking: ducts are female, accessories are male.
• Sealing achieved by adding mastic and/or perforated tape.
• Fixing to the duct using self-drilling screws (4 to 6 depending on diameter).
• If waterproofing is done after installing the connection, a CPT or CPT2A should be used.
• Installation with a Terrace Penetration Sleeve: FT.
