Hoover Fridge Freezer Dynamic HNC 6200AE
COMBINED AND FROST FREE COMBINED
Control Panel
The thermostat box, located inside the fridge compartment on the top right, controls the appliance. Ensure the thermostat knob is not set to "0" for the appliance to function. Adjust the knob according to the desired temperature in the fridge.
The freezer compartment in this product is automatically defrosted. A small amount of frost or water drops on the back of the fridge compartment while the fridge is working is normal. Ensure the water outlet is always clean and that food does not touch the back or sides of the fridge compartment.
Important: If the room temperature is very warm, the appliance may work continuously, leading to frost buildup on the back of the fridge compartment. In such cases, turn the thermostat knob to lower settings.
Freezing of the Freezer Compartment
Place the foods to be frozen in the drawer. To avoid excessively cooling the fridge compartment at the start of the freezing process, it may be necessary to turn the thermostat knob back, depending on the load and room temperature. Once freezing is complete, return the thermostat knob to its usual setting. The rating plate indicates the maximum quantity of food that can be frozen.
Defrosting of the Freezer Compartment
For models with FROST FREE technology, manual defrosting is not required due to the automatic ice prevention system.
For models without FROST FREE technology, it is recommended to manually defrost when the frost layer exceeds 3 mm. Set the knob to "0", open the door, and remove foodstuffs, storing them in a cool place. Leave the door open until the frost melts. Dry the interior with a sponge or cloth. Replace the foodstuffs and reset the knob to the usual value.
N.B.: The rating plate contains essential information for contacting the Service Department in case of faults.
N.B.: For optimal air circulation, maintain some space between foodstuffs. For models with FROST FREE technology, avoid blocking the cooling air vents.
N.B.: To test consumption and preservation standards, remove all drawers except the bottom one.
Reversing the Opening of the Doors
To reverse the door opening, place the appliance on the floor or at a 45° angle to access the bottom of the appliance.
- Remove the bottom hinge by loosening the screws, then remove the lower door.
- Remove the middle hinge by loosening the screws, then remove the top door.
- Remove the bushes from the right-hand side of the doors and mount them on the left-hand side.
- Remove the top hinge by loosening the screws. Unscrew the pin from the hinge.
- Disassemble and move the corner guide from the left to the right-hand side, turning it 180°.
- Remount the hinges and doors from bottom to top (steps 1-2-3). Reinstall the spacer washers between the door and hinge.
- While attaching the top hinge to the left-hand side, tighten the screws and screw the pin back into the left hole.
- To reverse vertical handles, remove the outer caps from the right-hand side of the doors. Unscrew the handles from the left-hand side and move them to the right-hand side. Position the previously removed outer caps from the right-hand side to the left-hand side.
After repositioning the appliance upright, wait two hours before turning it on. For proper door alignment, adjust the middle hinge.
