Installation Preparation
Tools
- Hammer drill (Ø8mm)
- Screwdriver (PH0, PH1, PH2)
- Safety gloves
Environment
Ensure the installation environment meets the following criteria:
- ☀️?️❄️ Avoid Direct Sunlight, Rain, or Snow: Protect the device from harsh weather conditions.
- ?️ Adequate Ventilation: Ensure sufficient airflow around the device.
- ? Avoid Uneven Ground: Install on a stable, level surface.
- ?️ Avoid Unstable Surfaces: Do not install on surfaces that may shift or collapse.

Clearance
Ensure sufficient clearance for proper heat dissipation:
- Minimum 30 mm clearance from walls on the sides.
- Minimum 20 mm clearance from the front and back.
During Installation
Step 1: Mount & Lock (Optional)
This step involves attaching mounting brackets to the device and the wall.
- Attach bracket part A3 to the device using screws A5.
- Attach bracket part A4 to the device using screws A5.
- Mark mounting points on the wall using the assembled bracket.
- Drill holes and insert wall anchors A6 if necessary.
- Secure the bracket assembly to the wall using screws A7.
- Slide the device onto the mounted bracket.
- Lock the device in place using the bracket mechanism. ?
Step 2: Connect to Grid Power
Safety First: The grid connection must be to a grounded electrical outlet or grounding busbar. Grounding the product casing via its dedicated terminal is recommended for enhanced safety. Ensure the device is powered off before installation.
Method 1: Connect via a Home Outlet
Connect the AC power cable (A2) to a grounded outlet. Ensure a secure connection. ?️ Click.
Method 2: Connect via a Home Circuit Breaker (United Kingdom Only)
Professional Installation Required: This step must be carried out by a qualified electrician.
Power Must Be Off: Before beginning installation, ensure the power is switched off at the installation site.
Connect the PE and N wires separately to the PE-bar and Neutral-bar, and the L wire to the terminal on the breaker leading to the load side.
Step 3: Connect to an Existing Microinverter
Use a microinverter compliant with local regulations. EcoFlow microinverters are preferred. The device has an IP65 ingress protection rating; using the AC outlet may affect this. To minimize water exposure, place the device close to a wall. Ensure the AC outlet cover remains in place when not in use.
Step 4: Connect to Load (Optional)
Connect the device to your appliances. The device has an IP65 ingress protection rating; using the AC outlet may affect this. To minimize water exposure, place the device close to a wall. Ensure the AC outlet cover remains in place when not in use.
Step 5: Reinstall the Protective Cover
Securely reattach the protective cover to the device.
Post-Installation
Power On
Press the Power button once to turn on the device. If the home circuit breaker was turned off, remember to switch it back on.
Download EcoFlow App
Scan the QR code or search for the EcoFlow app in your mobile application store (Google Play or Apple App Store) to download it. Register an account and log in.
Bind the Device and Set Up Internet
Follow the in-app instructions to bind the device and enjoy smart control from your phone.
