Standard Drawers

The MatrixBox Premium modular drawer system offers new design opportunities. It is robust, contemporary, and easy to install, featuring a streamlined design with vertically running 90° inner drawer sides. Adjustments are made from the top, and it boasts smooth synchronized runner movement. Drawer sides are available in three trendy colors, and the system is 100,000 cycle tested. It supports multiple design and customization possibilities with matching add-ons and accessories.

Inner Drawers

Inner drawers are constructed from steel and are available in White, Metallic Anthracite, and Metallic Silver finishes. They utilize full extension with either integrated Soft-Close or Push-to-Open Soft-Close progressive rollers for smooth action.

Runner System Functionalities

Full extension with integrated Soft-Close: Manual opening via handle. Automatic, silent, soft closing when the drawer is pushed shut, thanks to the integrated fluid soft closing mechanism.

Full extension with Push-to-Open Soft-Close: Mechanical and automatic opening with a gentle tap on the handle-free front panel. Can be used with a synchronization rod for wide pull-outs. Closing is initiated by a gentle push, engaging the integrated Soft-Close for a soft pull to the closing position.

Design and Customization

MatrixBox Premium offers extensive design and customization options due to its modularity. The modern, streamlined design is consistent across standard and inner drawers. Three trendy colors and straight-edged railings enhance aesthetics. Drawers can be fitted with inserts made from glass, wood, acrylic, or stone. Lateral Décor Insert Holders in standard drawers and matching holders in inner drawers allow for unique customer design visions. Optional add-ins like height extension side panels, cross railings, and under-sink pull-outs complete the modular system for all requirements.

Planning & Space Requirement: Drawer side height is 92 mm. Diagrams show space requirements with different railing types and insert holders, indicating specific dimensions for drawer side height and overall depth.

Cutting Dimensions: Detailed cutting dimensions are provided for Lateral Décor Inserts (M), specifying length and height based on nominal cabinet runner length and panel thickness.

Inner Drawer Application

Components include Cabinet Runners (A), Drawer Sides (B1), Cover Caps (B2), Inner Drawer Front Panels (D), Front Fixing Brackets (E), Rectangular Side Railings (H), Rear Lateral Décor Insert Holders (O), Front Décor Insert Holder Sets (R), and Front Stabilisation Clips (T).

Planning & Space Requirement: Drawer side height is 92 mm. Diagrams illustrate space requirements with rectangular railings and rear lateral décor insert holders.

Cutting Dimensions: Provided for Inner Drawer Front Panels (D), Front Panel Profiles (F), Front Décor Inserts (N), and Lateral Décor Inserts (Q), detailing dimensions based on internal cabinet width and nominal length.

Under-Sink Drawer

This configuration is designed for under-sink units. It includes specific drawer sides (NL = 350 mm) and a Sink Cut-out Set (U), which comprises an aluminum panel, panel holder, and cover profile. High-fronted configurations can be achieved by adding railings, height extension side panels, or lateral décor holder sets.

Technical Details and Ordering

Drilling Patterns and Dimensions

Diagrams show drilling patterns for cabinets, indicating screw hole positions for standard drawers and inner drawers with wooden or aluminum panels. The 35 kg runner has one screw hole row, while the 50 kg runner has two. Cutting dimensions for base and rear panels are provided, specifying lengths and heights relative to nominal length and internal cabinet width. Formulas and examples are given for calculating internal drawer width and depth based on external cabinet dimensions and nominal lengths.

Adjustments

Front panel height and side adjustments are conveniently performed from the top of the drawer sides, even in confined spaces. Mounting and removing the front panel requires no tools. Side adjustment for 92 mm drawer sides can be done from the right side.

How to Order

The modularity of MatrixBox Premium allows for countless design and customization options. Ordering involves two main steps:

1. Select a Base Drawer Configuration Set: Choose from sets including cabinet runners, drawer sides with rear fixing panels, cover caps, and front fixing brackets. These are available for integrated Soft-Close or Push-to-Open Soft-Close functionalities, in various nominal lengths (e.g., 300mm to 550mm), load capacities (35kg, 50kg), and the three standard colors (Metallic Silver, Metallic Anthracite, White).
2. Choose Add-on Accessories: To achieve specific applications like high-fronted drawers or customized interiors, add accessories such as Rectangular Side Railings, Round Side Railings, Height Extension Side Panels, Lateral Décor Insert Holder Sets, or Front Décor Insert Holder Kits. Specific kits are available for inner drawers, front panel customization, and under-sink units.

Note: Synchronisation rods are mandatory for Push-to-Open Soft-Close applications and must be ordered separately. Décor inserts are not provided by Hafele and must be sourced independently.
