1. What's in the box

2. Determine Handle Direction

The handle direction is determined from the secure side of the door. The term "secure" means the side from which you initially unlock and enter from outside.

Change Handle Direction

1. Step 1: Use the Allen key to take off the screw from the handle.Visual: Allen key turning a screw on the handle.

4. Step 4: Fix the direction that you need and tighten the screw.Visual: Handle reattached and screw tightened in the new orientation.

If there are some scratches on the film, please don't worry. There is a protective film on the front panel, it can be removed.

1. Line drawing & Hole drilling: Make out holes for the lock panel and mortise according to the hole template.Visual: Using a hole template to mark drilling points on a door.
2. Install the latch: Insert the latch into the side hole, using 2 screws to fix the latch.Visual: Inserting the latch mechanism into the door's edge and securing with screws.
3. Install the lock panel
   • Install the front panel:
     1. Cover the rubber mat to the front panel.
     2. Align the square shaft hole on the panel with the latch.
     3. Insert the spindle and fix the front panel to the door.

   • Install the back panel:
     1. Remove the rubber mat and base plate from the back panel at first.
     2. Cover the rubber mat to the back panel base plate and fix them to the door.
     3. Connect the cables on the front panel to the cables on the back panel.
     4. Fix the back panel to the door.
     5. Install 4pcs 1.5V AA alkaline batteries and fix the battery cover.

In factory default status, the smart lock (no power on) is always in an open state, meaning the lock handle is free and the door cannot be locked. To change this, power on the smart lock with batteries, add an administrator, and pair the smart lock with the TTLock APP. The open mode will then be changed to private mode automatically.

Note: Please ensure your phone's Bluetooth ⚙️ is turned ON before any operation. While the smart lock can function without the app, more convenient features are only available with the TTLock APP.

1. Search on the app store or scan the provided QR code to download and install the TTLock APP.
2. Open the app, register for a TTLock APP account, and log in.
3. Ensure the smart lock is in factory mode.
4. Turn on Bluetooth on your phone and stay near the smart lock (within 10ft / 3m). Pair the smart lock with the TTLock APP by following the operation steps in the video.

5. FAQs

1. Installation completed, but there is no power on smart lock?
   • Use only 4pcs AA batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries from different brands. Never insert objects into the lock other than batteries.
   • Check the direction of the batteries. The positive pole should be upward. ⬆️
   • On internal assembly, check if the wire is connected to the receiver correctly.
2. How to use passcode to unlock?Please enter the default status passcode (123456), then press the "#" button on the keypad to unlock.
3. How do I keep the lock in the unlocked status?Please go to "Lock Settings" in the app to set up the lock under "Passage Mode".
4. Does it have a low battery warning?The smart phone will push a notification to you to change the battery when it is low. Also, on the bottom of the front panel, there is a connection port for a power bank; you could use a power bank as backup power. ?
5. How to unlock remotely?A WiFi gateway is required for remote control. With the gateway, you can control your Bluetooth smart lock even from a far distance. You can revise or delete eKeys/passcodes that you created anywhere, anytime. View door opening records (Card, Passcode, APP) instantly. Support remote unlock the door via the app.

   Note: The gateway is not included in the package. It needs to be purchased separately.
