Charging Your Personal Groomer
Before first use, charge for 2 hours. Ensure the product is switched off. Connect the charging adaptor to the product and then to a USB port. The charging indicator will light up. The groomer cannot be overcharged. For extended periods of non-use (2-3 months), unplug and store. Recharge fully before reuse. To preserve battery life, allow batteries to run out every 6 months, then recharge for 14-16 hours.
How to Match the Appliance
Ways of Replacement and Installation
- Remove the heads: Push the blades in the direction of the arrow (Fig. 1-2).
- Install the heads: Align the protruding part of the blade with the body groove and press the blade in the direction of the arrow (Fig. 3-4).
- Remove full size trimmer combs: Lift from the bottom of the combs (Fig. 5-6).
- Install full size trimmer combs: Align the guide comb (3/6/9/12mm) with the head and press down on the bottom of the guide comb (Fig. 7-8).
- Install adjustable precision comb: Slide the comb from top to bottom of the head, adjustable in 4 levels from 1-4 mm (Fig. 9).
- Remove foil head: Press the buttons on both sides and push forward to remove (Fig. 11).
- Adjust body trimmer lengths: The body trimmer head includes 3mm/6mm/9mm; slide the head up and down to adjust lengths (Fig. 10).
How to Use
- To define the beard/moustache line: Hold the groomer with the precision trimmer blade facing you. Start at the edge of the beard/moustache line and gently lower the trimmer blade onto your skin. Use motions towards the edge to trim (Fig. 17-18).
- Trimming edge of sideburns: Hold the groomer with the precision trimmer blade facing you. Start at the edge of the sideburn, with blades lightly against skin, use motions towards the edge to trim (Fig. 19-20).
- To thin and taper the beard/moustache: Attach a guide comb to the full size trimmer. Start with the maximum trimming length. Turn the unit on. Place the flat top of the trimmer comb against the skin. Slide the groomer through the hair, repeating from different directions. If hair builds up, switch off, remove comb, and clean (Fig. 21-22).
- To remove hair from nose and ear: Attach the nose trimmer attachment. Gently insert the groomer into the nostril or ear. Move the groomer in and out and rotate. Avoid inserting the cutting unit more than 6mm (Fig. 23).
- Using the micro shaver trimmer: Attach the micro shaver trimmer. Hold the groomer at a 45-degree angle to your face. Use short, controlled movements to shave around your beard/moustache. Stretch your skin with your free hand to help hair stand upright. Note: The micro shaver is for detail areas, not the entire face (Fig. 24).
Tips for Best Results
- Beard, moustache, and sideburn hairs should be dry.
- Avoid using lotions before grooming.
- Comb hair in the direction it grows.
- Remove the trimmer comb attachment for defining hairline edges, trimming the nape of the neck, or trimming the beard line on the front of the neck.
