Product Overview

The ED-HMI3630-156C is a 15.6-inch industrial Human-Machine Interface (HMI) designed and powered by the Raspberry Pi CM5. It offers a high-resolution 1920x1080 multi-point capacitive touchscreen with a brightness of up to 450 cd/m².

The device is built around the Broadcom BCM2712, a quad-core Arm Cortex-A76 (ARM v8) 64-bit SoC operating at 2.4GHz. It supports up to 16GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 64GB of eMMC NAND storage, with expansion options via Micro SD card and M.2 B-key SSDs.

Connectivity is extensive, including 1x HDMI, 2x LAN, 2x USB 2.0, 4x isolated RS232/485 ports, 2x isolated CAN ports, 8x isolated Digital Inputs (DI), and 8x isolated Digital Outputs (DO).

It features a wide voltage power input range (DC 12V~24V) with protection against reverse polarity, overvoltage, and overcurrent. Optional features include an integrated supercapacitor for backup power, RTC, Watch Dog, EEPROM, and crypto authentication. The HMI supports embedded installation and VESA 75x75 mounting. It also offers optional CODESYS Control for Raspberry Pi MC SL.
