[WARNING] Hazards or unsafe practices which COULD result in severe personal injury or death.

[CAUTION] Hazards or unsafe practices which COULD result in minor personal injury.

Important Safety Instructions

When using your dishwasher, follow basic precautions:

Grounding Instructions

This appliance must be grounded. Grounding reduces the risk of electric shock by providing a path of least resistance for electric current in case of malfunction or breakdown. The appliance is equipped with a cord having an equipment-grounding conductor and a grounding plug. The plug must be plugged into an appropriate outlet installed and grounded in accordance with all local codes and ordinances.

Improper connection of the equipment-grounding conductor can result in a risk of electric shock. Check with a qualified electrician or service representative if you are in doubt. Do not modify the plug; if it does not fit the outlet, have a proper outlet installed by a qualified electrician.

Power Supply Cord

Installation Instructions

Electrical Shock Hazard: Disconnect electrical power before installing. Failure to do so can result in death or electric shock.

The installation of pipes and electrical equipment should be done by professionals.

Position the dishwasher near existing inlet and drain hoses and power cord. Choose a cabinet sink side to facilitate drain hose connection. The back should rest against the wall, and the sides along adjacent cabinets or wall. Water supply and drain hoses can be positioned to the right or left for proper installation.

DO NOT USE AN EXTENSION CORD OR AN ADAPTER PLUG WITH THIS APPLIANCE. DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, CUT OR REMOVE THE GROUND CONNECTION FROM THE POWER CORD.

Tip Over Hazard:

State of California Proposition 65 Warnings:

Suffocation Hazard

Before discarding an old appliance, remove the door or lid so children cannot hide or get trapped inside. Failure to follow these instructions can result in death or brain damage.

Dishwasher Loading

Dish Preparation

Scrape away large pieces of food, bones, pits, and toothpicks. The filtered wash system removes remaining food particles. Loosen burned-on foods before loading. Empty liquids from glasses and cups.

Foods like mustard, mayonnaise, vinegar, lemon juice, and tomato-based products may cause discoloration of stainless steel and plastics if left for extended periods. Rinse off these food soils if the dishwasher is not to be operated immediately.

If the dishwasher drains into a food disposer, ensure the disposer is completely empty before starting.

Loading the Top Rack

The upper rack is designed for cups, glasses, small plates, bowls, and plastic items marked "dishwasher safe". For best results, place bowls, cups, glasses, and sauce pans with soiled surfaces facing down or toward the center. Tilt slightly for better drainage.

Make sure loaded dishes do not interfere with the rotation of the middle spray arm (located at the bottom of the upper rack). Check this by rotating the middle spray arm by hand.

Diagram Description: The diagrams show standard loading patterns for 8, 12, and 14 place settings, illustrating how dishes are arranged in the upper and lower racks for optimal cleaning. For 8 place settings, the upper rack is shown in a raised position for best washing performance.

Loading the Bottom Rack

The bottom rack is designed for plates, soup bowls, plates, saucers, and cookware. The adjustable rack space accommodates items up to 13 inches.

Large items should be placed along the edge to avoid interfering with the middle spray arm rotation and to ensure they do not prevent the detergent dispenser from opening. Turn large items so the inside faces downward and ensure they do not interfere with the lower spray arm rotation.

The fold-down tines in the bottom rack make loading extra-large and hard-to-fit items easier. Tines can be left up for normal use or folded down for more flexible loading, such as for large pots or pans.

Diagram Description: The diagrams illustrate standard loading patterns for 8 and 12 place settings in the bottom rack, showing how plates and bowls are positioned.

Do not let any item extend through the bottom of the rack.

Ensure nothing protrudes through the bottom of the basket or rack to block the lower spray arm.

Loading the Silverware Basket

The silverware basket is divisible into three separate modules, usable in both upper and lower racks.

Diagram Description: The diagram shows the silverware basket divided into three sections, with numbers indicating different types of silverware.

Adding a Dish

To add or remove items after the wash cycle starts:

  1. Open the door slightly and wait a few seconds until the wash action stops before opening completely.
  2. Add the item.
  3. Close the door firmly to latch; the cycle will automatically resume.

Adjustable Upper Rack

The upper rack height can be easily adjusted to accommodate taller dishes in either rack. For accommodating taller dishes in the bottom rack, there are 2 positions available.

Diagram Description: Diagrams show the upper rack in its upper and lower positions, illustrating how the height adjustment works. A note indicates that height should be adjusted without dishes in the racks.

Fold-down Tines

The fold-down tines make loading extra-large and hard-to-fit items easier. Tines can be left up for normal use or folded down for more flexible loading, such as for large pots or pans.

Diagram Description: Diagrams show the upper and lower racks with tines in both the upright and folded-down positions, demonstrating how to create more space.

Filling the Detergent Dispenser

1. Push the dispenser cover latch downwards and open it.

2. Add detergent to the main wash compartment.

3. Close the lid by first pushing it (1) and then pressing on it (2) until you hear a click.

Filling the Rinse Aid Dispenser

Rinse aid improves drying and reduces water spots and filming. Without rinse aid, dishes and the interior may have excessive moisture, and the Heated Dry option may not perform as well.

The rinse aid dispenser, located next to the detergent cup, automatically releases a measured amount of rinse aid during the last rinse.

If spotting and poor drying are problems, increase the rinse aid by rotating the dial (located under the dispenser cap) to a higher number. The Rinse Aid light illuminates at the beginning and end of the cycle when it's time to refill.

Your dishwasher is designed to use liquid rinse aid. Do not use solid or bar-type rinse aid. Rinse aid typically lasts about one month. Keep it full, but do not overfill.

Rinse agent removes spots and prevents new film buildup on dishes, glasses, flatware, cookware, and plastic.

To Fill the Dispenser:

  1. Try to keep it full, but do not overfill.
  2. Turn the dispenser cap to the left and lift it out.
  3. Add rinse agent until the indicator window looks full.
  4. Clean up any spilled rinse agent with a damp cloth.
  5. Replace the dispenser cap.

Control Panel Operation

1. PRO (Cycle Selection)

With the dishwasher door closed, press the PRO button to select the wash cycle. A light on the display indicates the selected cycle.

WASH CYCLE SELECTIONS:

2. OPTIONS

After selecting the wash cycle, choose options by pressing the “Options” button.

ABOUT THE OPTIONS:

3. DELAY START

To delay the start of a cycle, press the Delay Start pad until the desired delay time shows in the LED indicator (1 to 24 hours). To cancel the delay and start the cycle immediately, press the Start/Cancel pad.

4. START/CANCEL

Close the door firmly; it latches automatically. Select the wash cycle and options; the indicator light above the pad turns on. Press the Start/Cancel key once to start; the light illuminates and wash action begins.

To cancel a running cycle, press Start/Cancel once. The dishwasher will start a 60-second drain and then shut off. You can then select a new cycle. To add more dishes or pause a running dishwasher, open the door slowly and carefully due to hot steam. You can add items if the main wash detergent dispenser is still closed. Opening the door while running activates a safety mechanism that stops the cycle.

5. CHILD LOCK

Lock all controls to prevent children from accidentally changing cycles or starting the dishwasher.

Press and hold the Delay Start pad for 3 seconds to turn the lock on (lock light illuminates). Press and hold again for 3 seconds to unlock (lock light turns off).

Cleaning & Care

Clean the Stainless Steel Inner Door and Tub

The tub is made of Stainless Steel and will not rust or corrode if scratched or dented.

Clean the Cylinder Filter

The Cylinder Filter collects items like broken glass, bones, and pits. It needs regular cleaning to maximize wash performance.

Remove the lower rack, rotate the Cylinder Filter as shown, lift it out, empty, and clean it under running water. Replace it afterward.

Because hard water chemicals can clog spray arm jets and bearings, clean the spray arms regularly. Wash them in soapy, warm water and use a soft brush to clean the jets. Replace them after rinsing thoroughly.

To remove the upper or middle spray arm, unscrew the nut clockwise. To remove the lower spray arm, pull upward.

Diagram Description: The diagrams show how to remove and clean the cylinder filter and spray arms. One diagram illustrates pulling the lower arm out.

Clean spots on the steel inner door and tub with a damp non-abrasive cloth.

Burn Hazard: Allow the heating element to cool before cleaning the interior. Failure to do so can result in burns.

Clean the Fine Filter

Take out the Cylinder Filter and remove the Fine Filter from the dishwasher tub bottom. To remove the Fine Filter, first remove the bottom spray arm as shown.

Flush the Fine Filter by holding it under running water and replace it.

Diagram Description: The diagrams illustrate the steps for removing and cleaning the fine filter, including removing the bottom spray arm and flushing the filter under running water.
