Descaling the machine

Approximate duration: 45 minutes.

Precondition: COFFEE READY / DECALCIFY MACHINE

Equipment Required

• Descaling tablets
• Tub of 36 (Art. 70751)
• Pack of 3 (Art. 61848)

Instructions

1. Press the button labeled "DURATION 45 MIN. / START YES".

2. Press the button labeled "EMPTY TRAY".

3. Remove the drip tray.

4. Remove the brew unit.

5. Pour descaling solvent into the water tank.

6. Insert descaling tablets into the water tank.

7. Wait for approximately 3x the duration indicated, possibly with a timer symbol.

8. Pour descaling solvent into the water tank again and press "PRESS RINSE".

9. Press a button (implied to start the process).

10. Attach the milk frother (if applicable).

11. Press the button labeled "DECALCS EMPTY TRAY".

12. Remove the drip tray.

13. Remove the water tank.

14. Fill the water tank.

15. Fill the water tank again.

16. Press the button labeled "PRESS RINSE".

17. Turn the dial.

18. The machine is shown with two milk carafes attached.

19. Press the button labeled "DECALCS HEATING UP MACHINE RINSING EMPTY TRAY".

20. Hands are shown removing drip trays.

21. Removed drip trays are shown.

22. The machine status is displayed as "COFFEE READY".
