Initial Setup
Automatic Earbud Connection
To power ON, press and hold both touch sensors for 3+ seconds. One earbud's indicator light will be white and the other will flash blue/white, indicating they are ready to pair with your device.

Bluetooth Connection
From your device's settings, select 'JLab JBuds Air'. Two beeps will sound, and white lights will remain solid, indicating connection.
Adding New / Additional Bluetooth Devices: Turn OFF Bluetooth on a previously connected device. Turn ON Bluetooth on the new device. Remove earbuds from the case. The earbuds will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode. Select 'JLab JBuds Air' from your device's settings.
Button Functions
Left Earbud
- Volume Down: Single tap
- Activate Voice Assistant (iOS/Android): Double tap
- Answer Call: Single tap
- End Call: Double tap
- Reject Call: Press and hold for 1+ second
- Previous Track: Press and hold for 1+ second
- Power On: Press and hold for 3+ seconds
- Switch EQ: Triple tap
Right Earbud
- Volume Up: Single tap
- Answer Call: Single tap
- End Call: Double tap
- Reject Call: Press and hold for 1+ second
- Play / Pause: Double tap
- Next Track: Press and hold for 1+ second
- Power On: Press and hold for 3+ seconds
- Switch EQ: Triple tap
Indicator Sounds
- Power On: Chime
- Bluetooth Connected: 2 Beeps
- Low Battery: 'Low Battery' prompt (below 20%)
- Power Off: Chime
Turning Off Earbuds Without Charging Case: On your Bluetooth device, go to settings and select 'Forget JBuds Air'. The earbuds will turn OFF automatically after 3 minutes.
Custom EQ3 Sound Modes
To cycle through equalizer settings, triple tap the right or left earbud (JBuds Air cycles through 3 EQ settings):
- JLab SIGNATURE: JLab C3T™ signature sound, highlighting vocals and bass.
- BALANCED: Even soundstage with no additional tuning.
- BASS BOOST: Tuned for stronger bass and sub-bass.
Charging the Earbuds
- Place earbuds into the left (L) and right (R) charging case slots for proper charging. Earbuds will automatically turn OFF and begin charging. Blue lights indicate charging is in progress and will turn off when fully charged.
- Removing earbuds from the case will automatically power them ON and connect to your device.
Charging the Case
Connect the JBuds Air charging case to a computer or a USB 5V 1A (or less) output power source. During charging, the LED lights will be white and flashing, and will remain solid white when charging is complete.
Fitting
For a secure fit and optimal seal, try the optional Cush Fins™ stabilizers and various ear tips. The Cush Fin™ stabilizer should be positioned so it does not cover the microphone port.
Troubleshooting
No Sound in One Earbud (Manual Reset)
- On your Bluetooth device, go to settings and select 'Forget JBuds Air'.
- Open the charging case and keep both earbuds inside. Starting with ONE earbud, quickly tap the touch sensor 7 times. The indicator light will flash blue 4 times. Keep the earbuds in the charging case.
- Repeat for the second earbud. Quickly tap the touch sensor 7 times. The indicator light will flash blue 4 times.
- Remove both earbuds from the charging case. Wait for one earbud's indicator light to turn solid white and the other to flash blue/white. You are now ready to pair with your Bluetooth device.
Bluetooth Connection Not Established / Re-established
- On your Bluetooth device, go to settings and select 'Forget JBuds Air'.
- Toggle Bluetooth OFF and then ON again on your device.
- Open the charging case and wait for one earbud's indicator light to turn solid white and the other to flash blue/white.
- From your device's settings, select 'JLab JBuds Air'.

Echo During Calls
If you experience microphone echo or poor call quality with your JBuds Air, check that the Cush Fin™ stabilizer is not blocking the microphone port.

Quick Tips
- To prevent damage to the charging case, dry the earbuds thoroughly before placing them inside. The earbuds are sweat and water-resistant, but the charging case is not.
- To use only one earbud, you can connect either one. Simply remove the desired earbud from the charging case, and it will automatically connect.
- For optimal sound quality, it's important to select the correct ear tip that ensures a snug fit in your ear. Try all included ear tips to find the best fit.
Precautions
- Avoid excessive heat, cold, and moisture.
- Avoid dropping or crushing the earbuds.
- Earwax may accumulate in the ear tips, affecting sound quality. To improve sound quality, carefully remove earwax with a cotton swab or other small tool.
- If you experience discomfort or pain, reduce the volume or temporarily discontinue use of the earbuds.
- If you experience persistent discomfort while using the product, discontinue use and consult a physician.
- We recommend treating your earbuds with the same care as good sunglasses and keeping them in a safe place between uses.
