Operating Principle
In a hygrorégulable VMC (Mechanical Ventilation) system, the airflow is automatically regulated according to the humidity level in rooms, thus adapting to the building's actual ventilation needs.

The BDH Tertiaire vents are hygrorégulable and automatically regulate airflow based on the humidity levels in tertiary sector premises.
Applications
Suitable for new construction and renovation projects.
Installation Guidelines
- Install the BDH Tertiaire in humid or technical rooms such as bathrooms, WCs, or cellars.
- Position the vent at the top of a vertical wall or on the ceiling, at a minimum height of 1.80 meters above the floor.
- Ensure the vent is accessible and removable, with at least 20 cm clearance between the vent's center and adjacent walls or elements not directly connected to the duct.
- Optimal airtightness of the vent-to-duct connection is crucial. This is enhanced by using a sleeve. A metal sleeve is recommended for collective housing (stainless steel sleeve is mandatory for VMC Gaz systems), while a plastic sleeve can be used for individual houses.
- Versions with Ø 125 mm spigot: The vent connects directly (via push-fit with O-ring) into a sleeve, RT Flex, or rigid/semi-rigid duct.
- Versions with Ø 80 mm spigot: Connect via push-fit into sleeves, rigid, or semi-rigid ducts.
- Versions without spigot: Fixed by clip onto a Ø 125 mm (Roll-In seal), Ø 116 mm (Roll-In seal), or Ø 100 mm (foam seal) spigot.
- For ceiling-mounted installations or installations above furniture, use a cord return (code 11015001).
- Note: For hygrorégulable vents with electric control, two AA/LR06 batteries and a standard push button (code 11026011) are required.
- Hygrorégulable vents operate within a pressure range of 80-160 Pa.
- Extraction vents must be maintained and inspected at least once a year. Connecting a mechanical hood to the VMC network is prohibited (Art. 14 - decree of March 24, 1982).
- Before replacing an existing vent with a new one, perform a pressure measurement and record the type of dwelling.
