The bottom has a port for the USB cable. The battery compartment is at the rear, showing how to insert the battery by sliding the cover off and then reinserting it.
Installation of Cable
USB cable Installation:
Connect the USB cable’s Square Side interface to the bottom of the scanner. Connect the other side of the USB cable to the computer host.
Note: The computer host can charge the scanner via USB cable, and the USB cable can also be used as a wire to transmit barcodes. The scanner features wireless transmission mode and USB cable transmission mode. When triggered to wake up, the scanner will automatically identify whether the USB cable is connected. If identified, it will work in USB cable transmission mode; if not, it will work in wireless transmission mode, with data transmitted via 2.4G mode.
Initialization Setting & Version Information
During usage, if you scan other set-up barcodes by mistake and the scanning cannot perform as normal, you can scan the initialization setup barcode to revert.
Scan the 'initialization setting' barcode to revert to factory defaults.
Scan the 'version information display' barcode to view device information.
Bluetooth Pairing Steps
HID Bluetooth Mode
Pair with operating systems (Including Android, iOS, Windows) that have Bluetooth function:
A: Start the scanner and long press for 8 seconds or scan the 'bluetooth pairing setup' barcode to enter the Bluetooth search mode.
B: Turn on Bluetooth in the device to detect Bluetooth devices named "Barcode Scanner HID". Click "Barcode Scanner HID" to enter pairing status. You will hear a beep upon successful pairing.
Note: When the scanner enters the state of matching and it does not pair with Bluetooth successfully within 1 minute, there will be 2 times long low sound indicating failing match, and it will return to scanning mode. (Or trigger twice to exit match mode and revert to scanning state).
Pull up and Hide IOS Keyboard
Scan 'Pull up and Hide iOS Keyboard' barcode to manage the iOS keyboard.
Scan 'Trigger twice to pull up iOS keyboard' to show the keyboard.
Scan 'Trigger twice to disable iOS keyboard' to hide the keyboard.

Scan 'No Caps Lock Switch' to disable Caps Lock functionality.
Scan 'Caps Lock Switch' to enable Caps Lock functionality.
Pairing with 2.4G Dongle
For PC terminals, like desktop computers, that are not equipped with Bluetooth, pairing with the Dongle is necessary. Follow these Dongle Pairing Steps:
A: Scan the 'Dongle setup barcode'.
B: Scan “Compulsory Pair with Dongle Setup Barcode” to enter pairing state. The blue light on the left flickers quickly.
C: Plug in the receiver. If pairing is successful, you will hear a beep, and the blue light on the right will be always on.
Note: When the scanner enters the state of matching and it does not detect the receiver successfully within 1 minute, there will be 2 times long low sound indicating failing match, and it will return to scanning mode.

Scan 'Bluetooth BLE Mode' for BLE mode.
Note: Scan the above barcodes to enter the Bluetooth searching state.
Operating Mode
Normal Mode
In normal mode, scans are uploaded directly to the computer via USB cable or Wi-Fi dongle. If successful, the barcode scanner will make a low-frequency short tone. If it fails, there will be three low-frequency short tones to alarm. In normal mode, if a scan fails, the data will be lost.
Storage Mode
If the transfer range is beyond the Bluetooth wireless transfer range (outdoor open area: 200m, indoor open area: 50m), storage mode is suggested, in which scans are stored in internal storage after being scanned. In storage mode, if a barcode is scanned, the scanner will make a short tone, and scans are automatically stored in the scanner's internal storage.
Scan the 'Total amount of stored barcode' barcode to check the total amount of scanned barcodes in storage.
If the internal storage is full, the scanner will emit three low-frequency short tones to alarm.
Data Upload: Upload the stored data by scanning the "Data Upload" barcode. Note: When uploading data, please ensure the wireless signal is perfect, or upload after connecting with the USB cable.
Clear Data: By scanning “Clear Data”, you can clear the scans in storage. The cleared scans won't be uploaded once cleared. Please confirm whether the scans have been uploaded before clearing them.
Bluetooth Name Change Setting
A: Scan the 'Bluetooth Name Change Set-up Barcode'.
B: Scan the user-defined barcode of the Bluetooth name within 16 characters (Symbology unlimited, letter, number, or symbol works). If the customer wants to change the Bluetooth name as they like, they should use a barcode generator themselves.
For example, once you make a barcode of 'Scanner123', the Bluetooth name of the scanner will be changed to 'Scanner123' after scanning the barcode you made.
Note: Once initialized, the Bluetooth name will revert to the default.
Hide front and back characters
A: Scan "Hide front character" or "Hide back character" Setting Barcode.
B: Scan quantity of hiding characters. Choose from 'Hide 1 character' through 'Hide 8 characters'.
Note: If you want to cancel the “Hide front and back characters” operation, please scan barcodes of “Hide front character” or “Hide back character” Setting Barcode.
Set Prefix and Suffix Setting
A: Scan the "Allow for Prefix Adding" or "Allow for Suffix Adding" setting barcode.
B: Select the desired contents of prefix or suffix (refer to Appendix A).
Note: If you want to cancel Prefix or Suffix Adding operation, please scan barcodes of “Allow for Prefix Adding” or “Allow for Suffix Adding” Setting Barcode once more.
