2.4G Pairing Steps

  1. Scan the "Compulsory Pair with Dongle Setup Barcode" to enter pairing state. The blue indicator light will flicker.
  2. Plug the USB receiver into the PC USB interface.
  3. If pairing is successful, you will hear a beep, and the blue indicator light will remain constantly on.

Note: If the scanner does not pair successfully with the dongle within 1 minute, it will emit two long low sounds, indicating a failed match, and return to scanning mode. You can also trigger the scanner twice to exit matching mode and revert to scanning state.

Note: Plugging in the USB cable prevents pairing with the dongle.

Visual representation of the 2.4G pairing process: Step A shows scanning a 'Compulsory Pair with Dongle Setup Barcode' with a flickering blue light. Step B shows plugging the receiver into a PC USB interface. Step C indicates successful pairing with a solid blue light.

Operating Modes

Normal Mode

In normal mode, scanned data is uploaded directly to the computer via USB cable or the Wi-Fi dongle. A successful scan is indicated by a low-frequency short tone. If a scan fails, three low-frequency short tones will sound as an alarm, and the data will be lost.

Visual depicts the 'normal mode' where data is uploaded directly.

Storage Mode

This mode is recommended for situations where the transfer range exceeds the wireless capability. Scans are stored in the scanner's internal storage. A successful scan in storage mode produces a short tone, and the data is automatically stored. If the internal storage becomes full, the scanner will emit three low-frequency short tones to alert the user.

To check the total amount of stored barcodes, scan the "Total amount of stored barcode" barcode.

Visual depicts the 'storage mode' where scans are stored internally.

Data Upload

Upload stored data by scanning the "Data Upload" barcode. After data upload, the barcodes are not automatically deleted from the scanner. Users can scan the "Data Upload" barcode multiple times to transfer all stored data.

Note: Ensure a stable wireless signal for uploading, or connect the scanner via USB cable for the upload process.

Clear Data

Clear all stored scans by scanning the "Clear Data" barcode. Cleared scans cannot be uploaded. Please confirm that all necessary data has been uploaded before clearing.

End Character Settings

Choose the end character you need to add to scanned data:

Visuals show barcodes for setting end characters: 'Add CR', 'Add LF', 'Add CR+LF', 'Cancel CR+LF', and 'Add TAB'.

Standby Time Settings

Configure the scanner's standby time:

Visuals show barcodes for various standby time settings: 'Standby after 1 min', 'Standby after 5 mins', 'Standby after 10 mins', 'Standby after 30 mins', 'Never enters Standby', and 'Standby fastly'.

Language Settings

Select the desired language for the scanner's interface or output:

Visuals show barcodes for language settings: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Japanese.

Capital and Lowcase Switch

Control the case of scanned data:

Visuals show barcodes for capital and lowercase switch settings: 'Transfer to Lowcase Set', 'Transfer to Capital Set', 'Turn off Switch', and 'Capital and Lowcase Switch'.

Hide Prefix and Suffix

Configure prefix and suffix hiding for scanned data:

A: Scan "Hide Prefix" or "Hide Suffix" setup barcodes.

B: Select the bits to be hidden:

Note: To cancel the Prefix or Suffix hide function, scan the corresponding "Hide Prefix" or "Hide Suffix" setup barcode again.

Visuals show barcodes for hiding prefix/suffix: 'Hide Prefix', 'Hide Suffix', and options to hide 1 to 8 bits.

Reset Configuration to Defaults

If the scanner's performance becomes abnormal due to scanning incorrect setup barcodes, you can scan the "Reset Configuration to Defaults" barcode to revert all settings to their original state.

Visual shows a barcode for 'Reset Configuration to Defaults'.

LED Indicator

Buzzer

The buzzer provides audible feedback for various operations:

Sound TypeDescription
A long sound (First low then high frequency)Means power on
A long sound (First high then low frequency)Means power off
A short sound (low frequency)Means read barcode
A short sound (First low then high frequency)Means data has been stored
A short sound (First high then low frequency)Means scan the set-up barcode
A short sound (low frequency)Means wireless transmission failed or cache is full

Low Power Warning: During normal usage or startup, if the buzzer continuously emits five long low-frequency sounds, the scanner will automatically power off. This indicates the battery capacity is too low and requires charging before the next use.

Sound and Vibration Setting

Configure sound and vibration feedback:

Visuals show barcodes for sound and vibration settings: 'Turn Off the Sound', 'Turn On the Sound', 'Turn Off the Vibration (Option)', 'Turn On the Vibration (Option)'.
