Install Max GearLoft™ Shelf to the Gladiator® Wall System

1. Installing the GearTrack® channel

Diagram showing two parallel GearTrack channels spaced 6 inches (15.24 cm) apart.

Ensure Gladiator® GearWall® panels or GearTrack® channels are installed with mounting screws at every stud location, with a maximum horizontal spacing of 24 inches (60.96 cm) between screws. For GearTrack® installation, use two parallel channels spaced 6 inches (15.24 cm) apart.

2. Sliding the brackets into the GearTrack® channel

Diagram showing brackets being slid into GearTrack channels, spaced 43 inches (109.22 cm) apart.

Determine shelf mounting location on Gladiator® GearWall® panels or GearTrack® channel. Insert brackets into the GearTrack® channel so the rim extension fits behind the upper channel groove. Slide brackets 43 inches (109.22 cm) apart. NOTE: Install into the upper channel for braces above the shelf, or into the lower channel for braces below the shelf.

3. Installing Max GearLoft™ Shelf

Engage the bracket welded to the shelf back into the wall slot by lifting, pushing towards the wall, and lowering the bracket rim into the slot.

4. Fasten the braces to the brackets

Ensure bracket screws pass through brace holes. Fasten braces to brackets using wing nuts (F3). NOTE: Adjust brackets if screws do not align. Inspect shelf from the side to ensure bracket rims are fully engaged. Tighten wing nuts (F3) fully.
