Important Information
MicroSD Card
- Ensure your memory card is formatted in the camera before first use (Settings > Format). Back up files before formatting, as formatted and erased files cannot be restored.
- The maximum supported memory card capacity is 64GB. Using cards exceeding this may result in file errors.
- For best results, use high-quality Micro SD cards rated Class 10 with U3 High Speed or higher.
- A U3 rated memory card is required for recording 4K video to avoid data transfer speed issues.
- Recording time depends on the selected resolution.
Charging
- Ensure the camera is fully charged before first use.
- Keep the device away from children while charging.
- Ensure the camera is switched off when charging. If it turns on automatically when connected to power, turn it off to complete charging. A camera plugged in and switched on will not charge.
- Charge the camera using the USB port of a computer or a USB power adapter with a maximum capacity of 1100mAh.
- Unplug the USB cable before using the camera.
- Battery life is dependent on resolution, settings, and outside temperature, lasting up to 90 minutes under optimal conditions.
Safety Instructions
⚠️ WARNING: The camera is not suitable for children under 36 months due to choking hazard.
⚠️ WARNING: Always protect your camera from falls, blows, and bumps.
- Keep a sufficient distance from objects generating strong magnetic fields or radio waves (e.g., electrical appliances) to prevent damage to the product or interference with sound and image quality.
- Store the device in a cool (room temperature), dry, and dust-free location. Never expose it to high temperatures or direct sunlight.
- In the unlikely event of overheating, smoke, or unpleasant odors, immediately disconnect the charging cable and remove the battery to prevent fire.
- ⚠️ WARNING: Before using the camera in water, ensure all lids and closures on the camera and underwater housing are closed and sealed.
- After use in salty or chlorinated water, clean the case under running tap water and let it dry.
- To prevent condensation inside the case or behind the lens, avoid exposing the camera to high temperature and humidity differences.
- After underwater use, leave the housing open to avoid condensation or rusting.
Camera Description
The GoXtreme Manta 4K is a compact action camera. Key components include:
- Power / Mode Button: Used to turn the camera on/off and switch between modes.
- Shutter / Select Button: Used to start/stop recording or select options.
- Lens: The primary lens for capturing images and video.
- Microphone: Built-in microphone for audio recording.
- Indicator light: Shows the camera's status (e.g., charging, recording).
- Touch screen: For viewing and interacting with the camera's interface.
- Micro SD Card Slot: For inserting memory cards.
- Speaker: For audio playback.
- HDMI & USB Type C Slot: For data transfer, charging, and external display output.
- Battery Cover: Houses the rechargeable battery. To open, press and hold the button on the cover, then slide it open.
Camera Operation
Installing and Removing Battery
- Correctly install the battery into the battery compartment, aligning the 'pins' on the camera with the 'slots' on the battery.
- Refer to the symbols for battery power status: ⏻ for full power mode and [low power symbol] for low power mode.
- To remove the battery, open the battery compartment cover and pull the battery out using the attached tag.
Charging the Battery
When using the action camera for the first time, ensure the battery is fully charged.
To charge: Connect the camera to a computer or a Type C power adapter using the supplied Type C data cable. The status indicator LED remains red during charging and switches off when the battery is full.
Power On/Off
Press and hold the power button for 3-5 seconds to turn the camera on or off.
Video and Photo Mode Switching
There are two ways to switch between video and photo modes:
- Button Operation: Short press the Power/Mode button to cycle through modes. Tap your preferred mode to enter.
- Touch Operation: Swipe up on the touchscreen to display the mode selection menu. Tap your preferred mode to enter or tap 'X' to return.

Video/Photo General Settings Menu
While in video or photo standby mode, tap the setup icon ⚙️ to enter the video/photo settings interface.
Video Mode
The camera defaults to video standby mode upon powering on. The last used video function mode will also be active.
Tap the video settings icon ⚙️ to change the current resolution and other video settings.
Press the "shutter / select" button to start video recording. The status indicator LED flashes blue during recording. Press the shutter button again to stop recording.
If the battery is exhausted, the camera will stop working and shut down automatically. The video being recorded will be saved before shutdown.
Time-Lapse Video
Enter the function mode menu, select "Time Lapse Video". The camera returns to the video preview screen. Tap the "Settings" icon ⚙️ and scroll to "Timelapse Video" to select your preferred time-lapse setting.
Slow Motion
Enter the function mode menu, tap the "Slow Motion" mode icon. The camera returns to the video preview screen. Tap the "Settings" icon ⚙️ and then "Video Resolution" to select the slow motion resolution.
Photo Mode
Enter Photo Mode via:
- Touch Operation: Swipe up to enter the function mode menu and choose Photo Mode.
- Button Operation: Short press the Power / Mode button to enter the function mode menu.
After selecting Photo Mode, enter the photo settings menu to choose resolution and other preferences.
Time-Lapse Photo
Enter the function mode menu, touch the "Time Lapse Photo" icon. The camera returns to the photo preview. Click the "Settings" icon ⚙️ to enter the photo setting menu and select "Photo Lapse" to set the time-lapse photo interval.
Photo Burst
Enter the function mode menu, tap the "Photo Burst" mode icon. The camera returns to the photo preview. Click the "Settings" icon ⚙️ to enter the photo settings menu and tap "Burst Settings" to select the number of burst photos per shutter press.
Control Shortcuts
Swipe DOWN on the touchscreen to display a control panel for easily turning on WiFi ?, locking the screen ?, or turning off the camera ⏻.
Playback
To browse video and photo files, switch to playback mode. From the video/photo preview screen, click the Playback icon ▶️ to enter the playback menu and select files.
WiFi Connection
Before using the WiFi Control function, install the YUTUPro APP on your smartphone or tablet.
Note: Wireless file transfer via the app is not possible for videos with resolutions higher than 1080p. Higher resolution files can only be accessed via a computer using a card reader.
Connection Steps:
Step 1. On the Camera:
- In video/photo mode, swipe DOWN to enter the control shortcuts screen.
- Tap the WiFi icon ? to activate the WiFi function. The icon changes from white to green when activated.
- The screen will display: SSID: Manta_XXXXXX and Password: 12345678.
Leave the camera in this state and proceed to your smartphone.
Step 2. On Your Smartphone/Tablet:
- Open your mobile phone's WiFi settings and search for the camera device: Manta_xxxxxx from the available wireless networks. The password is 12345678.
- Exit your smartphone's WiFi settings and open the YUTUPRO APP.
- Tap 'Enter Camera' on the app to connect your camera and smartphone.
The camera screen will display an orange WiFi icon to confirm an active connection, and your phone will show a live view from the camera.
Note: To prolong battery life, deactivate the WiFi function after use by swiping down on the camera touchscreen and tapping the WiFi icon.

Disposal
Packaging Disposal
For disposal, separate packaging into different types. Cardboard and board must be disposed of as paper, and foil must be recycled.

Dispose of waste equipment and/or battery by handing it over to the applicable take-back scheme for recycling. Battery Warning
- Never dismantle, crush, or pierce the battery, or allow it to short-circuit. Do not expose the battery to high temperatures. If the battery leaks or bulges, stop using it.
- Always charge using the provided charger. Risk of explosion if the battery is replaced by an incorrect type.
- Keep the battery out of reach of children.
- Batteries may explode if exposed to naked fire. Never dispose of batteries in a fire.
- Dispose of used batteries observing local regulations.
- Before disposing of the device, please remove the battery.
