Important Warnings and Cautions
⚠️ WARNING: Do not turn on the gimbal until your smartphone or action cam is correctly installed and adjusted. Adjusting the position during operation can cause damage.
Please charge the gimbal fully before first use. Use the included action cam adapter for action cams. The gimbal should only be used in temperatures from 0°C to 40°C. Use of the battery in environments above 40°C can lead to fire or explosion. Use of battery below 0°C can lead to serious damage.
⚠️ CAUTION: The gimbal is a high-precision control device; damages may be caused if it is dropped or subjected to external force, potentially leading to malfunction.
- Make sure the rotation of gimbal axes is not blocked by external force when the gimbal is switched on.
- The gimbal is not waterproof or water-resistant. Prevent contact with liquid of any kind. Use a dry cloth for cleaning.
- Protect the gimbal from dust and sand during use.
- Hold the gimbal's handle still when powering up to ensure successful startup.
- Make sure batteries are fully charged before each use.
- For storage over 10 days, discharge the battery to 40%-65% to extend battery life.
- Charge and discharge the battery completely once every 3 months to keep it active.
Charging the Battery
Charging the Gimbal Battery: Connect the charger cable port on the gimbal's handle to a power source such as a power pack (not included), computer, or phone charger. Note: Do not charge the battery immediately after use if the gimbal is hot. Let the battery cool down to near room temperature.
Charging the Phone from the Gimbal (Powerbank): The USB power out port at the back of the gimbal can charge your smartphone/camera while recording. Note: An L-shape charging connector is required when the smartphone is mounted horizontally.
- Do not place the gimbal near flammable materials or surfaces.
- Never leave the battery unattended during charging.
- Check the charger and cable for damage before use. Never use a damaged cable. Do not clean the cable with alcohol or flammable solvents.
- The battery automatically stops charging when full.
Storage and Travel
Storage: Do not leave the gimbal near heat sources or exposed inside a vehicle on hot days. Store in a dry environment, away from temperatures over 40°C. Avoid over-discharge by not leaving the gimbal unused for too long when the battery is completely discharged.
Travel Notice: Discharge the battery power to 5% or lower before carrying the battery on an air flight.
