Product Overview

This quad M.2 PCIe SSD adapter adds up to four high-performance PCIe M.2 SSDs (NVMe and AHCI) to a desktop computer, workstation, or server via an available PCIe x16 slot. Take full advantage of the fast performance and compact size of internal PCIe M.2 SSDs with read/write speeds up to 7.8 GBps per disk.

The absence of an onboard chip provides broad system compatibility. This card requires PCIe bifurcation, meaning it can easily integrate into any system with an available x16 PCIe slot that supports PCIe bifurcation. Use RAID software, such as Storage Spaces (Microsoft) or mdraid/mdadm (Linux), to build a RAID array, add redundancy, or improve system performance.

The PCIe M.2 NGFF adapter (M Key or B+M Key) supports PCIe NVMe and PCIe AHCI M.2 SSDs, including 2242, 2260, 2280, and 22110 mm drives. The PCIe M2. adapter card requires no software or drivers, meaning it works with most operating systems if the computer/motherboard supports bifurcation.

The pre-installed ventilated full-profile bracket increases airflow to improve heat dissipation, helping to maintain optimal and reliable operating temperatures.

• RAID SOFTWARE FUNCTIONALITY: The M.2 PCI Express adapter provides individual access to your M.2 PCIe SSDs. Use operating system or third-party RAID software to build an array and add redundancy, higher capacity, or performance through RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 5, RAID 10, or JBOD.
• VENTILATED BRACKETS: This PCIe M.2 NVMe adapter card comes with a pre-installed full-profile bracket. The ventilated bracket provides better airflow, contributing to maintaining optimal and reliable performance while helping to avoid disk throttling.

System and Cable Requirements: Bifurcation support is required on the computer/motherboard for multiple drives to be detected by the host system.

Note: NVMe SSD drives require drivers provided by the drive manufacturer or that can be provided by the operating system (Windows® 8 and later). Earlier OS versions do not have built-in NVMe support.
