The StarTech.com 4-Port M.2 NVMe to SATA Adapter Card, also known as the M.2 PCIe 3.0 Expansion Card, allows you to add up to four independent SATA drives to a desktop computer. It utilizes a single M.2 2280 slot and maintains SATA 6Gbps read/write speeds per drive. This adapter is ideal for expanding storage capacity cost-effectively, especially for modern motherboards or external enclosures featuring a PCIe-based M.2 slot.
Four 50cm SATA cables are included for quick connection of hard drives or SSDs. Drivers install automatically on most major operating systems, including Windows 8 and later, macOS, and Linux. It is compatible with all hardware platforms, such as Intel and AMD, and supports software storage management, including Microsoft Storage Spaces. This card is perfect for data storage, backups, NAS configurations, photographers, videographers, and content creation, requiring substantial storage capacity and high reliability.
The adapter supports TRIM, SMART data pass-through, SATA I/II/III, and PCI Express 3.0.
