1. Plug In
Connect the DC 5V power adapter to the alarm clock and plug it into a power outlet. A diagram shows the alarm clock connected to a wall outlet.
2. Battery Backup
The Reacher R3 uses 3 AAA batteries for backup, primarily to save settings in case of power failure. If the clock is operated solely on batteries, they will drain quickly (approximately 3.5 hours). It is recommended to keep the clock plugged in for continuous operation. A diagram illustrates the battery compartment on the back of the clock, requiring 3 AAA batteries, and the DC 5V input port.
Display Indicators
The clock display shows the time, snooze indicator, AM/PM indicator (for 12H format), auto-off timer indicator, and alarm indicator.

Controls and Ports
The Reacher R3 features a volume control knob, screen dimmer button, and a USB charging port.

Basic Operations Overview
- Enter Alarm Setting: Press the button.
- Turn Off/On Alarm 1/2: Hold the button for 3 seconds.
- Set Auto-off Timer: When the sound machine is on, press .
- Enter Time Setting: Press the button.
- Soothing Sound Selector: Use the button.
- Turn On/Off Sound Machine: Press the button.
- Adjust Settings: Use the and buttons.
- Snooze: When the alarm goes off, press .
- Snooze Duration Setting: Hold the button for 2 seconds.
Important Notes
All operations will automatically exit and save settings if no action is taken within 5 seconds.
Always check the "AM" & "PM" indicator when setting time and alarm:
- 12-hour format (default): "AM" appears in the morning, "PM" appears in the afternoon.
- 24-hour format: "AM" & "PM" will not appear.
Time Setting Instructions
To set the time:
- Press to select hour or minute.
- Press or to change the selected content.
- Press to confirm the selected content.
Example: If the clock is in 12-hour format, default time is "AM 12:00", but the correct time is "AM 12:30". To correct the minute:
- Press once. "12" will be selected and flash.
- Press or until "00" becomes "30".
- Press again to finish setting.
Alarm Setting Instructions
To set the alarm:
- Press to select hour, minute, ringtone, or volume.
- Press or to change the selected content.
- Press to confirm the selected content.
Attention:
- Alarm 1/2 setting is similar to time setting. Alarm ringtone settings should be noted.
- When the ringtone is selected, "P01" will flash. Press or to change ringtones.
- To adjust volume, press the volume wheel (on the back). "U22" will flash, press repeatedly to adjust volume.
Alarm Off/On
To turn off/on Alarm 1/2 completely, hold the
button for 3 seconds.Alarm time will appear when the alarm is on. Otherwise, "OFF" will appear.
Snooze Duration Setting
To set the snooze duration:
- Hold the button for 2 seconds to enter snooze duration setting.
- Press or to change the snooze duration (1-15 minutes).
- Press to confirm.
Alarm Pause/Snooze
When the alarm goes off, there are two options to stop the alarm ringing:
- Press to get 9 minutes of snooze.
- Press to stop the alarm when it's ringing. The alarm will go off the next day.
If no button is pressed, the alarm will automatically turn off after 30 minutes.
White Noise Sound Machine Setting
To use the sound machine:
- Press to turn on the sound machine. Press repeatedly to turn off.
- Press repeatedly to change the sounds. There are 12 optional sounds.
- To adjust the volume, press the volume wheel (on the back). Volume levels range from 0-30.
Auto-off Timer
When the sound machine is on, press
to select the auto-off timer. "150" will flash. Press repeatedly to choose the timer duration (in minutes).When the timer is on, press
once to view the remaining time.The timer indicator will appear when the timer is on. Otherwise, the timer is off.
Dimmer
Roll the
wheel (on the back) to adjust the brightness of the display from 0-100.Restore Factory Setting
To restore the clock to factory default settings, disconnect the power supply and remove the batteries. The clock will restore default settings when plugged into the adapter next time.
