Discover the EasyF Connection System
The EasyF system is an innovative connection concept where the inner conductor of the coaxial cable is directly inserted into the device, significantly improving connection reliability. The absence of traditional F connectors allows for a reduced chassis size and the secure connection of two cables with a single screw.
Simplicity and Savings
- Real time savings: Installation is sped up as there is no need for coaxial cable termination. Screwing connectors onto the device, which can be difficult in tight spaces, is also eliminated.
- Connection reliability: The clamp mechanism securely holds the cables, preventing them from coming loose.
- Cost savings: No additional connectors (neither F nor IEC) are required.
- Space optimization: Inputs and outputs are located on the same side of the device, preventing coaxial cables from bending and making installation easier within cabinets and register boxes.
Very Easy Three-Step Mounting
Mounting involves only screwing and unscrewing the covers to connect both cables:
- Unscrew the device's cover to access the connection point.
- Insert the previously stripped coaxial cables.
- Close the cover and screw to ensure a secure connection.
EasyF System Reliability
With EasyF, the connection between the coaxial cable and the device is made using an automated system for contact insertion of the inner conductor, eliminating the need for soldering. This ensures the device's operating life is increased, as the potential for solder wear over time is removed.

Application Example
A schematic diagram illustrates a typical SMATV signal distribution setup using the Televes EasyF 4W Splitter. The diagram shows a signal source, labeled 'QSD Amplifier' with inputs for 'RF + FI' and an output labeled 'V'. This connects to a 'DAT BOSS 5796' device, which then feeds into a 'STB' (Set-Top Box). From the STB, the signal goes to a 'VLNB' (Variable Low Noise Block) which then connects to the 'Splitter'. The splitter has inputs and outputs labeled 'SAT' and 'TERR' respectively.
