Discover EasyF Connection System: Simplicity and Savings
EasyF is an innovative connection concept where the inner conductor of the coaxial cable is directly inserted into the device, improving connection reliability. Thanks to the absence of F connectors, the chassis can be reduced, and the connection of two cables is secured with a single screw.
- Real time savings: Installation is sped up without the need for coaxial cable termination. Furthermore, there is no need for screwing connectors onto the device, which can be difficult in confined spaces.
- Connection reliability: The clamp holding the cables prevents the coaxial cable from coming off.
- Cost savings: No additional connectors are required (neither F nor IEC).
- Space optimization: Inputs and outputs are always on the same side of the device to prevent coaxial cables from bending, and to make working inside cabinets and register boxes easier.
- Very easy three-step mounting: Only screwing and unscrewing the covers is required to connect both cables:
- Unscrew the device's cover to access the connection point.
- Insert the previously stripped coaxial cables.
- Close the cover and screw to ensure connection.
With EasyF, the connection between the coaxial cable and the device is carried out using an automated system for contact insertion of the inner conductor, without any soldering.
Application Example
The diagram illustrates a typical SMATV (Satellite Master Antenna Television) system setup. It shows a satellite dish receiving signals, which are then amplified. The amplified signal is fed into a splitter, which divides it into multiple outputs for distribution. These outputs connect to devices like a Set-Top Box (STB) and a Television (TV). The system may also include a power supply or signal booster unit (e.g., DAT BOSS). The device's design, which eliminates solder wearing out, increases its operating life and reduces failure rates typically caused by cold soldering joints. It also offers optimized electromagnetic behavior for high frequencies and reduced production power consumption, reinforcing a commitment to the environment. Note: Exceeding the indicated value can cause irreversible errors. The DC pass function allows power to flow only from the outputs to the input.
