Important Notes Before Using

Buttons and Controls

The speaker features several buttons for control:

Button M:

  • Press and hold 3s: Turn On/Off ?
  • Press: Play/Pause ▶️/⏸️
  • Press and hold 3s: Activate/cancel auto-power off feature (works in Bluetooth mode only)
  • Press and hold 3s: Extra bass on/off ?

Button N:

  • Press: Enter Bluetooth pairing mode ?
  • Press and hold 3s: Disconnect Bluetooth
  • Press: Enter/Exit TWS pairing mode ?
  • Press and hold 3s: Enter/Exit PartySync pairing mode

Button +:

  • Press: Volume Up ➕
  • Press and hold 3s: Next track ▶️▶️

Button -:

  • Press: Volume Down ➖
  • Press and hold 3s: Previous track ◀️◀️

Other Functions:

  • Press: Change play modes (Bluetooth, AUX, TF Card)
  • Press and hold 3s (while Bluetooth disconnected): Check version ID
  • Press and hold 3s: Restore factory settings
  • Reconnect with last device (This function is implicitly handled by pressing N or M depending on context, or automatically upon power-on if a device was previously paired).
  • Fixed light color
  • Change 5 light show effects

LED Indications

Connections

The speaker features the following ports:

Connection Diagram Description: The diagram illustrates connecting a USB-C cable to the DC IN port for charging. It also shows connecting an AUX cable to the AUX port and inserting a TF card into the TF-CARD slot. Wireless connection via Bluetooth to a smartphone or laptop is also depicted.

Bluetooth Mode

  1. Enable the Bluetooth feature on your device (smartphone, tablet, computer).
  2. Search for "Extreme Boom Pro" in your device's Bluetooth list and select it to connect.
  3. Once paired, your device will show "connected".
  4. If your device cannot find the speaker within 10 seconds, press the N button to re-enter Bluetooth pairing mode.
  5. The speaker can pair with two devices simultaneously but plays audio from only one at a time. To switch audio sources, pause playback on the current device first.

TWS (True Wireless Stereo) Mode

  1. Turn on two DOSS Extreme Boom Pro speakers.
  2. On both speakers, press and hold the N button to enter TWS pairing mode.
  3. Once paired, the primary speaker's LED will turn solid white, and the secondary speaker's LED will flash white.
  4. Connect your Bluetooth device to the primary speaker (named "Extreme Boom Pro").
  5. If two smart devices are already connected via Bluetooth, entering TWS pairing will disconnect the currently playing device.
  6. To exit TWS mode, press and hold the N button again.

PartySync Mode

  1. Turn on one speaker and pair it with your device via Bluetooth.
  2. Press and hold the N button for 3 seconds to enter PartySync mode. This speaker becomes the primary speaker, and its LED turns solid white.
  3. Turn on other DOSS speakers and press and hold their N button to enter PartySync mode. These become secondary speakers, and their LEDs turn off.
  4. If two smart devices are connected, entering PartySync mode will disconnect the currently playing device.
  5. To exit PartySync mode, press and hold the N button again.
  6. Note: Buttons M, N, +, and - on secondary speakers cannot be controlled in PartySync mode.

Using Your Speaker with Echo Dot

Connect your Echo Dot to the speaker via Bluetooth:

  1. Set up your Echo Dot using the Alexa app and connect it to your Wi-Fi network.
  2. Switch the Extreme Boom Pro to Bluetooth mode. You may need to press the power button to re-enter pairing mode if it doesn't appear.
  3. Open the Alexa app, navigate to Menu > Settings.
  4. Select your Echo Dot, then tap Bluetooth.
  5. Look for "Extreme Boom Pro" in the list of available Bluetooth devices. If it's not listed, press the power button on the speaker to re-initiate pairing.
  6. Tap the speaker name to complete the pairing process.
  7. To remove the device, go to Bluetooth settings in the Alexa app, tap the speaker's name, and select "Forget Device".

Note: Voice commands cannot turn the speaker on or off when connected via Bluetooth.
