Step 1: Wall Mounting
This section details how to mount the UISP Console on a wall.
Tools Required:
- Pencil ✏️
- Drill ?️
- Drill Bit (?️ Ø6mm / Ø1/4")
- Screwdriver ?
- Hammer ?
- Marking: Place mounting brackets (f) against the wall and mark the hole positions with a pencil ✏️.
- Drilling: Drill holes at the marked positions using a Ø6mm (Ø1/4") drill bit ?️. Insert wall anchors (k) into the drilled holes.
- Bracket Attachment (Device): Attach the mounting brackets (f) to the sides of the UISP Console using M4 or M3 screws (g or h).
- Wall Plate Attachment: Attach the wall mounting plate (d) to the wall using screws (l) and wall anchors (k).
- Device Mounting: Mount the UISP Console (with attached brackets f) onto the wall plate (d).
- Power Connection: Connect the power adapter (b) to the UISP Console and plug the power cable (c) into an electrical outlet. A lightning bolt icon ⚡ indicates power connection.
Step 2: Rack Mounting
This section details how to mount the UISP Console in a standard server rack.
Tools Required:
- Screwdriver ?
- Ear Attachment: Attach the rack mount ears (j) to the sides of the UISP Console using M3 or M4 screws (h).
- Rack Installation: Mount the UISP Console into the server rack, aligning the rack ears with the rack rails.
- Securing: Secure the device in the rack using 10#-32T screws (i).
- Power Connection: Connect the power adapter (b) and power cable (c) as shown. A lightning bolt icon ⚡ indicates power connection.
Step 3: Connectivity and Setup
Connect your network and set up the device using the UISP mobile application.
Internet Connection Options:

A: 10G Internet
Connect a high-speed network source (e.g., fiber modem) to the 10G port of the UISP Console using an appropriate cable. The connection is indicated by a speedometer icon showing "10G" and a globe icon ?.

B: 1G Internet
Connect a standard network source to one of the 1G ports of the UISP Console using an appropriate cable. The connection is indicated by a speedometer icon showing "1G" and a globe icon ?.
UISP App Setup:
Download the UISP application to manage your device:
- Download from the Apple App Store ?.
- Download from the Google Play Store ▶️.
Follow the on-screen instructions in the app to complete the setup.
SIM Card Installation
This section explains how to insert a SIM card into the UISP Console.
- Locate the SIM card slot on the device.
- Press the eject button ➡️ to release the SIM tray.
- Carefully place the SIM card into the tray, ensuring correct orientation.
- Insert the SIM tray back into the device until it clicks into place.
Correct Insertion: The SIM card and tray should fit flush and securely ✔️.
Incorrect Insertion: Avoid forcing the SIM card or tray if it does not align properly ❌.
