Input Method
Select the input method you need to use. According to presetting, the tablet will display a keyboard when you want to input characters.
- Press the menu key on the homepage interface, then click Settings, and then click System.
- Click Languages & Input.
- All of the input methods already installed on your tablet will be listed in the text setting region.
- Select the input method you want.
Use and Switch Input Method
- In the character input interface, click the keyboard icon under the status bar until the editing text menu pops up.
- Select the input method you need.
Keyboard symbols and their functions:
- ⬆️ : Switch input between capital and small letters.
- ❓123 : Switch to number/symbol/graphic input mode.
- ? : Switch input language.
Figure 2-3 shows a typical virtual keyboard layout.
Connection Establishment
3.1 Wi-Fi Connection
- On the homepage interface, click the Select menu button to pop up Menu Settings.
- Click Settings, and then click Network & internet.
- Click Wi-Fi to turn on the Wi-Fi switch.
- After turning on Wi-Fi, you can scan the found Wi-Fi networks automatically from the device in the left window.
- Select the network you want to connect to and input the password.
- Click Connect.
Figure 3-1 illustrates the Network & internet settings screen.
3.2 Bluetooth Connection
Application of Bluetooth (Figure 3-2)
- Click Settings and then click Connected devices, then open the Bluetooth device.
- Click "Pair new device", and then you can see the available devices. Click the device you want to connect to.
Figure 3-2 shows the Connected devices screen. Figure 3-3 shows the Pair new device screen listing available devices.
Device name: You can randomly change the name of Bluetooth for your tablet by clicking "Rename this device".
Figure 3-4 shows the option to rename the device.
3.3 Call Function
- Insert the SIM card in the power-on state.
- After the network logo appears in the notification bar, you can make or receive calls. The network signal strength will be displayed in the information bar in the upper right corner.
Figure 3-5 shows a phone dial pad.
3.4 4G Connection
Your tablet can connect to a 4G network after inserting a SIM card:
- On the homepage interface, click the Settings menu.
- Click Network & internet.
- Click Mobile network to open Mobile data (Figure 3-6).
- After opening Mobile data, you can browse the web.
Figure 3-6 shows the Network & internet settings screen, highlighting Mobile network.
Alternatively, you can pull down the menu at the top of the main interface to open the 4G network, as shown in Figure 3-7.
Figure 3-7 shows the quick settings panel.
4. Connect the Device to Computer
4.1 Connect the device to the computer with a Type-C cable. From the drop-down menu on the main interface, select "Charging this device via USB", as shown below:
Figure 4-1 shows the notification shade with "Charging this device via USB" selected.
Select "File transfer", and then you can transfer files between the device and the computer.
Figure 4-2 shows the USB Preferences screen with "File Transfer" selected.
5. Troubleshooting
5.1. Slow initial boot for tablet
After a system upgrade, the initial boot requires installation of pre-installed software applications. This process takes about 2-3 minutes, after which it runs faster.
5.2. Tablet cannot connect to Wi-Fi
- Ensure that the wireless router providing the network services works properly.
- Ensure the tablet and the wireless router are kept at a suitable distance, with no walls or other obstacles between them.
- Ensure the user name and the password are correct.
5.3. Tablet feeling hot
When multiple applications are running simultaneously, the screen is set to maximum brightness, or the device is recharging, this situation is normal.
5.4. System is disordered and does not work properly
Installation of some third-party applications may lead to system failure. You can press the reset button to reset the system.
5.5. Unable to create e-mail or register applications
- Ensure your network is properly connected to the Internet.
- Ensure your email settings are correct.
- Ensure your system time and the local time are consistent.

The Tablet ACER TAB V9-22 has been tested for body-worn Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) compliance. The FCC/IC has established detailed SAR requirements and has established that these requirements are met. RF Exposure Information: The radio module has been evaluated under FCC Bulletin C95.1 and IEEE 1528 and found to be compliant with RF Exposure from radio frequency devices. This model meets the applicable government requirements for exposure to radio frequency waves. The highest reported SAR level for usage near the body (0mm) is 0.733 W/kg. Body Simultaneous transmission is 1.041W/kg.
