Getting Started

First-time Use:

1. Plug in the device before turning it on for the first time.
2. Press and hold the power button until the Acer logo appears.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.

Connecting to the Internet via Wi-Fi:

1. Tap Settings.
2. Under Network & internet, tap Wi-Fi and ensure it is On.
3. Tap the name of your wireless network and enter the security password if necessary.

Connecting a Bluetooth Device:

1. Tap Settings.
2. Under Connected devices, tap Pair new device.
3. Your device will automatically scan for available Bluetooth devices. Tap an available device to connect.

Note: A2DP stereo headsets are supported for playback only. Check for software updates that may add support for additional Bluetooth devices.

Restoring to Factory Settings:

1. Tap Settings.
2. Tap System > Reset options > Erase all data (factory reset).
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the reset.

Home Screen Navigation

The home screen provides access to your applications and settings.

• Notification bar: Swipe down to view status information and controls.
• Search: Access the search function.
• Folders and apps: Organize and access your applications.
• Favorites bar: Quick access to frequently used apps.
• Navigation: Back, Home, and Recent app buttons.

Tap and hold the Home icon to activate the Google Assistant feature. Swipe up on the Home screen to view more apps.

• Use on aircraft: FCC and FAA regulations prohibit airborne operation of wireless devices due to potential interference with aircraft instruments.
• Wireless Adapter and Your Health: The wireless adapter emits radio frequency energy, but at levels lower than mobile phones and within safety guidelines.
