Detailed FAQ
- Q: Why are there anomalies in traffic usage?
- The device may automatically update when connected to Wi-Fi. If issues occur, try updating using a different Wi-Fi network.
- When using Wireless CarPlay, avoid manually connecting your phone to the device's Wi-Fi. If you do, after connecting to CarPlay, select "Ignore this network" for the device's Wi-Fi in your phone's settings.
- Q: The phone cannot establish a connection?
Please check if the 4G network is stable (indicated by the LED) and if the SIM card is functional and has network access. According to the car's security policy, the product's Wi-Fi is only activated when a 4G network connection is established, which is essential for wireless connectivity and automotive network communication.
- Q: The product cannot be connected when in an underground parking lot?
Tesla's security mechanism may disconnect from the network if a Wi-Fi hotspot is detected as unable to provide network access. Use a carrier with better signal coverage in your current network environment.
- Q: My Tesla does not support http and needs to support https access?
Access can be made via https://tslpush.com.
- Q: What is the difference between cellular and non-cellular version?
The cellular version utilizes the device's own 4G network, while the non-cellular version relies on the phone's mobile network.
- Q: How do I stay connected to the network for the non-cellular version?
- Connect your phone to the product's Wi-Fi signal.
- Enter the URL 192.168.3.1 in your phone's browser.
- Access the website background to configure relevant settings, such as Wi-Fi frequency bands and factory resets.
- Q: Which USB port of the car should the product be plugged into, and why does it keep powering up after getting off?
You can use a separate car charger or power the device via the car's USB port. The device will power off approximately 15 minutes after the car is locked.
- Q: For connection issues, what emergency steps can be taken?
- Ensure your phone's VoLTE function is enabled.
- For dual SIM phones, enable "Allow Cellular Data Switching" under "Cellular" settings.
