Introduction & Warranty

Thank you for selecting and buying V-TAC LED CONTROLLER. V-TAC will serve you the best. Please read these instructions carefully before starting the installation and keep this manual handy for future reference. For any other query, please contact your dealer or local vendor. The warranty is valid for 2 years from the date of purchase. The warranty does not apply to damage caused by incorrect installation or abnormal wear and tear. The company gives no warranty against damage to any surface due to incorrect removal and installation of the product. The products are suitable for 10-12 Hours Daily operation. Usage of product for 24 Hours a day would void the warranty. This product is warranted for manufacturing defects only.

Note: This device requires Wi-Fi Frequency 2.4Ghz. Operating frequency (maximum transmitted power) 2.412-2.484Ghz.

Safety Warnings & Notes

Warning: Please make sure to turn off the power before starting the installation.

Installation must be performed by a certified person.

This marking [Recycling symbol] indicates that this product should not be disposed of with other household wastes.

The safety alert symbol [Alert symbol] alerts you to potential hazards that could result in property damage and/or serious bodily harm or death.

Remote Control Output Adjustment: When the key color is inconsistent with the strip light, the output sequence can be adjusted. With the controller powered on, press the OFF button on the remote, and then press it continuously for 5 times. The strip light flashes once, indicating successful adjustment. Test startup to confirm output correspondence. Repeat steps if necessary.

Wi-Fi Module Safety Instructions

• Ensure the input voltage of this product matches the manufacturer's prescription. Incorrect voltages can cause breakdown and harm the environment and health.
• Wires must be connected correctly according to color codes and circuit diagram instructions.
• Before switching on, ensure power elements have a power rating lower than specified by the manufacturer.
• Before plugging in, verify the LED light voltage is suitable for configuration with this product.
• This product is suitable for V-TAC manufactured products. V-TAC is not responsible for adverse consequences when connected with products of other companies.

App Installation Instructions (Smart Life)

1. Turn the device power button ON.
2. Scan the provided QR code or download "Smart Life" from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
3. Open the Smart Life app and register for a new account, or log in if you have an existing account.
4. Enable Bluetooth and Home Wi-Fi for the device to access your Wi-Fi connection for pairing.
5. Tap "Add a device" or the "+" icon [plus icon] in the top right corner.
6. Select "Lighting" and then choose "Strip Lights (Wi-Fi)".
7. Select your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and enter the password.
8. Pairing Mode: Ensure the light blinks rapidly. If not, you can:
   • A. Switch the light on & off repeatedly 3 times with intervals less than 2 seconds.
   • B. Tap the 'How to make light blink rapidly' link (if available).
   • C. Enable pairing mode from the Wi-Fi controller: Press and hold the ON/OFF button for 5-7 seconds until the light flashes. Refer to the "WI-FI CONTROLLER FUNCTIONS" section.
9. Confirm the light blinks rapidly, select the Wi-Fi network, and enter the password.
10. The app will search, register, and initialize the device.
11. Once the device is added successfully, rename it as desired.
12. You can now control your device via the app, including on/off switch, timing, and schedules.

Google Assistant Settings

1. Install the Google Assistant app from the App Store (iOS) or Play Store (Android) and register, or log in.
2. Create a New Home or choose an existing one.
3. Power ON the Google Assistant device and connect it to the App.
4. On the Google Home page, tap the "Add" [+] icon [plus icon] to add a new device and skill. Tap "Set up device".
5. Ensure the Wi-Fi Switch is paired with the Smart Life app. Tap the highlighted arrow section.
6. Search for "Smart Life" in the search bar and tap its icon.
7. Sign in with your Smart Life login credentials to link the device.
8. Tap "Authorize" to proceed with linking.
9. The account will link, and you will be redirected to select the device to add to your home. Tap "Next" after selecting the device.
10. Select the Home to add the Smart Life device to, or create a new one.
11. You have successfully added the Smart Life device to your Google Assistant App.
12. Control your lamp via Google Assistant:
    • Tap "On/Off" options or the Smart Lamp name.
    • Control lights via "Power and Dimming functionality" on the app page.

Google Assistant Voice Commands:

• "Ok, Google, turn on/off bedroom light."
• "Ok, Google, turn on/off Hall light."
• "Ok, Google, set bedroom light to warm white."

Things to Remember Before Starting Installation:

• Smart Life App & Google Assistant App installed.
• Google Assistant Device available.
• Smart Device - Lamp.
• Stable Wi-Fi network.

Alexa Settings

1. Install the Amazon Alexa app from the App Store (iOS) or Play Store (Android) and register, or log in.
2. On the Amazon Alexa home page, tap the lower right icon [navigation icon] to add a new device and skill.
3. Tap "Settings" and then "Skills & Games".
4. Search for "Smart Life" on the "Skills & Games" page.
5. Enable the Skill.
6. Enter your Smart Life login ID and password and tap "Link Now".
7. Tap "Authorize" to proceed with linking.
8. You will receive confirmation of the account being linked successfully.
9. Discover your smart device on Alexa:
   • A. Use the voice command "Alexa discover devices".
   • B. Manually add devices: On the home page, tap "Add device", select the device you are adding, and tap "discover device".

Alexa Voice Commands:

• "Hi Alexa, Turn On/Off bedroom light."
• "Hi Alexa, Turn On/Off Hall Light."

• Amazon Alexa Device (e.g., Echo, Echo Tap, or Echo Dot) available.
