Introduction & Warranty

Thank you for selecting and purchasing the V-TAC Magnetic Smart Tracklight. Please read these instructions carefully before installation and keep this manual for future reference. For any queries, contact your dealer or local vendor. The warranty is valid for 3 years from the date of purchase. It does not cover damage from incorrect installation, abnormal wear and tear, or damage to surfaces during removal/installation. The product is suitable for 10-12 hours of daily operation; 24-hour usage voids the warranty. This warranty covers manufacturing defects only.

Warnings

• Please ensure power is turned off before starting installation.
• Installation must be performed by a certified person.
• Proper grounding must be ensured throughout the installation.
• For indoor use only.

Installation Instructions

1. Switch off the power.
2. Install the luminaire into the guide rail groove.
3. Check that everything is in order.
4. Switch on the power if all steps are completed correctly without any mistakes.

App Installation (V-TAC Smart Light)

Step 2: Download the 'V-TAC Smart Light' app from the Apple App Store (for iOS) or Google Play Store (for Android), or scan the provided QR code.

Step 3: Open the V-TAC Smart Light app and tap 'Register' to create a new account.

Step 4: To register, you can either:

• A) Mobile Number: Select your country, enter your mobile number, and tap 'Next'.
• B) E-Mail: Enter your email address and tap 'Next'.

Step 5: Enter the verification code sent to your mobile number/email, assign a new password, and tap 'Confirm'.

Step 6: Tap 'Add Device' or the [+] sign. Ensure the lamp is switched on.

Step 7: Choose 'Lighting' to start pairing the light to the app.

Step 8: Ensure the light is blinking rapidly to indicate it is in pairing mode. If the light is not blinking rapidly, perform one of the following:

• Switch the light On & Off repeatedly for 3 times with short intervals (less than 2 seconds).
• Tap the 'How to make light blink rapidly' link (if available in the app).
• Enable pairing mode from the Wi-Fi controller by pressing and holding the ON/OFF button for 5-7 seconds until the light flashes.

Network Modes:

• Smart Mode: Light flashes rapidly.
• AP Mode: Light flashes slowly, once every 2 seconds.

Confirm the light blinks rapidly, select your Wi-Fi network, and enter the password.

Step 9: The app will search, register, and initialize the device (lamp).

Step 10: Once the device is successfully added, rename it to your preference.

Step 11: After successful pairing, you can control multiple features of the lamp via your mobile, including On/Off switch, timing, and schedules.

Alexa Settings

Step 1: Install the Amazon Alexa app from the App Store (iOS) or Play Store (Android) and register, or log in if you have an existing account.

Step 2: On the Amazon Alexa home page, tap the icon indicated by an arrow in the lower right corner to add a new device and skill.

Step 3: Tap on settings [gear icon], then select 'Skills & Games'.

Step 4: Search for 'V-TAC Smart Light' on the 'Skills & Games' page.

Step 5: Enable the Skill.

Step 6: Enter your V-TAC Smart Light login ID and password, then tap 'Link Now'.

Step 7: You will be redirected to a new page requesting authorization. Tap 'Authorize'.

Step 8: You will receive confirmation that the account has been linked successfully.

Step 9: Discover your smart device on Alexa. You can use the voice command 'Alexa discover devices' or manually add the device by tapping 'Add device' on the home page and selecting the device.

Alexa Commands:

• Alexa, turn on/off [device name].
• Alexa, set [device name] to 50 percent.

Things to Remember Before Starting Installation:

• V-TAC Smart Light App & Amazon Alexa App installed.
• Amazon Alexa Device (e.g., Echo, Echo Tap, or Echo Dot).
• Smart Device - Lamp.
• Stable Wi-Fi network.

Google Home Settings

Step 1: Install the Google Home app from the App Store (iOS) or Play Store (Android) and register, or log in if you have an existing account. Create a new home or choose an existing one. Power on your Google Home device and connect it to the app.

Step 2: On the Google Home page, tap the [+] icon to add a new device, then tap 'Set up device'.

Step 3: Ensure the Smart Bulb is paired with the V-TAC Smart Light app. Tap the highlighted arrow section.

Step 4: Type 'V-TAC Smart Light' in the search bar and tap the corresponding icon.

Step 5: Sign in with your V-TAC Smart Light login credentials to link the device.

Step 6: Tap 'Authorize' to proceed with linking the device.

Step 7: Your account will be linked. You will be redirected to select the device to add to your home. Select the device and tap 'Next'.

Step 8: Select the Home where you want to add the Smart Light, or create a new home.

Step 9: You have successfully added the Smart Light device to your Google Home App.

Google Commands:

• OK Google, turn on/off [device name].
• OK Google, set [device name] to 50 percent.

Step 10: You can turn the Lamp On/Off by tapping the On/Off options, or tap on the Smart Lamp itself to access its Power and Dimming functionality.
