Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the HelloBaby monitor. With this baby monitor, you can see and hear your baby sleeping or playing in their room at any time. Please keep your original dated sales receipt for your records. For warranty service of your product, you will need to provide a copy.

1. Safety Instructions

PRECAUTION: Keep the device away from children.

Choking Hazard: Children have been strangled by cords. Keep this cord out of the reach of children (more than 3 feet (0.9 m) away). Never use extension cords with AC adapters. Only use the provided AC adapters.

Suffocation Hazard: This product contains small parts, be careful when unpacking and assembling the product.

Read and Follow Instructions: Read all safety and operating instructions before operating the baby video monitor. This product does not replace responsible adult supervision.

Water and Moisture: This product is designed for indoor use only. The unit should not be exposed to rain, moisture, dripping, or splashing. Do not place liquid-filled objects on or next to the product, such as a glass or vase. This item should not be used near water.

DO NOT: Use the appliance if the cord or plug is damaged. If your baby monitor is not functioning properly or has been damaged, contact the service center for inspection and repair of the appliance to avoid any potential risk.

DO NOT: Do not attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or mechanical function of the device. Otherwise, the warranty will be void.

Ventilation: This baby monitor should not be used on beds, sofas, carpets, or similar surfaces that may obstruct ventilation ducts, nor in enclosed areas such as shelves or drawers that may obstruct airflow.

Keep Away from Heat Sources: This unit should not be exposed to direct heat sources such as a candle, radiator, heat register, stove, or other heat-emitting appliance. The unit should not be left in direct sunlight.

Power Source: This unit should only be used with the AC power adapters included in this package (DC 5V 1A).

2.3 General Description of Icons

3. Button Operation

3.1 Power Saving / Screen Off

Briefly press the power button [power-symbol] to turn the screen on/off.

3.2 UP Button

Press once to tilt the camera up one step. Press and hold to tilt continuously.

3.3 DOWN Button

Press once to tilt the camera down one step. Press and hold to tilt continuously.

3.4 LEFT Button

Press once to move the camera left one step. Press and hold for continuous panning.

3.5 RIGHT Button

Press once to move the camera right one step. Press and hold for continuous panning.

3.6 Camera View / Scan

Split Screen Function

The baby monitor is equipped with the SPLIT SCREEN function when 2 cameras are connected, allowing the user to view both cameras side-by-side on the same screen.

Press the [scan-symbol] button to view/scan the camera:

Note: In the split screen interface, the cursor defaults to Camera 1. The sound of the video playing on the screen comes from Camera 1. If you want to hear the sound from Camera 2, move the cursor to Camera 2. The sound of the video playing will then proceed from Camera 2. (You cannot monitor the sound of two cameras simultaneously).

3.7 Digital Zoom

Press and hold the [zoom-symbol] button for about 2 seconds to zoom in or out.

3.8 Two-Way Talk

Press and hold the [talk-symbol] button to enter two-way talk mode. A microphone icon will appear at the top of the LCD screen. Release the button to stop.

Note: When in two-way talk mode, the parent unit's speaker is muted.

3.9 Infrared Night Vision (Automatic)

Infrared night vision allows the Camera to capture images in dark or low-light conditions. In this mode, only black and white images are displayed on the Monitor, and the best image is within 6 feet (2 meters) of the object. When the Camera is in night vision mode, the [night-vision-symbol] icon is displayed at the top of the screen.

4. Menu Operation

4.1 Pairing Camera and Parent Units

The baby unit is pre-registered to your parent unit. Re-registering is not necessary unless the baby unit loses its link with the parent unit. To re-register the baby unit or register a new baby unit, follow the procedure below:

Note: The camera icon with "✔️" indicates it is registered well. You must select and pair with the camera icon without the "✔️" sign.

4.1.1 Add Camera

  1. Press the MENU button, then the menu will appear;
  2. Press the [left-arrow] / [right-arrow] buttons until the camera icon is selected;
  3. Press the OK button to enter the submenu, then press the [up-arrow] / [down-arrow] buttons to select the desired camera;
  4. Press the OK button to enter the submenu; Press the [left-arrow] / [right-arrow] buttons and then the [up-arrow] / [down-arrow] buttons to select;
  5. While the [pair-symbol] icon is displayed on the LCD screen, press the PAIR button on the back of the camera;
  6. Once paired. The successful pairing icon "✔️" is displayed on the LCD screen.
  7. If it fails, repeat the previous steps.

4.1.2 Delete Camera

  1. Press the MENU button and the menu will appear;
  2. Press the [left-arrow] / [right-arrow] buttons until the camera icon is selected;
  3. Press the OK button to enter the submenu, then press the [up-arrow] / [down-arrow] buttons to select the camera you want to delete;
  4. Press the [left-arrow] / [right-arrow] buttons to enter the submenu; Press the [up-arrow] / [down-arrow] buttons to select, then press the OK button;
  5. Press the [down-arrow] button to select ☑ to delete the camera;
  6. Press the OK button to confirm the option;

4.2 Volume

  1. Press the OK button and the menu will appear;
  2. Press the [up-arrow] / [down-arrow] buttons until the volume icon [volume-symbol] is selected;
  3. Press the OK button to enter the submenu;
  4. Press the [up-arrow] / [down-arrow] buttons to select the desired volume level from level 1 to 5. (The default volume level is level 2 and level 0 is OFF)

4.3 Screen Brightness

  1. Press the MENU button and the menu will appear;
  2. Press the [up-arrow] / [down-arrow] buttons until the brightness icon [brightness-symbol] is selected;
  3. Press the OK button to enter the submenu;
  4. Press the [up-arrow] / [down-arrow] buttons to select the desired brightness level from level 1 to 5. (The default brightness level is level 3.)

4.4 Temperature Unit Adjustment

  1. Press the OK button and the menu will appear;
  2. Press the [up-arrow] / [down-arrow] buttons until the temperature icon [temperature-symbol] is selected;
  3. Press the OK button to enter the submenu;;
  4. Press the [up-arrow] / [down-arrow] buttons to select °F or °C to adjust the temperature unit;
  5. Press the OK button to confirm;
  6. Press the [back-arrow] button to exit.

Note: The detected temperature range is 0 to 50 °C.

4.4.1 Temperature Alarm Adjustment

  1. Press the [up-arrow] / [down-arrow] buttons to select [alarm-symbol] to activate the alarm function;
  2. Press the OK button to confirm;
  3. Press the [up-arrow] / [down-arrow] buttons to select [alarm-off-symbol] to deactivate the alarm function;
  4. Press the OK button to confirm;

4.4.2 Set High / Low Alert Limits

  1. Press the [up-arrow] / [down-arrow] buttons to select [high-temp-alert-symbol] or [low-temp-alert-symbol] for Hi/Lo limit adjustments;
  2. Press the [up-arrow] / [down-arrow] buttons to adjust the Hi limit when [red-symbol] is selected (red);
  3. Press the [up-arrow] / [down-arrow] buttons to adjust the Lo limit when [green-symbol] is selected (green);

Note: The high-temperature alarm range is 20-40 °C, and the low-temperature alarm range is 0-19 °C. The default high-temperature alarm setting is 36 °C and the default low-temperature alarm setting is 8 °C. When the temperature exceeds or drops below the settings, the temperature icon will be displayed on the screen. It will alert the user with beeps. Press any key on the parent unit to stop the beeping and flashing.

4.5 Lullaby Settings

You can soothe your baby to sleep by playing a gentle lullaby from the camera unit.

  1. Press the OK button and the menu will appear;
  2. Press the [up-arrow] / [down-arrow] buttons until the lullaby icon [lullaby-symbol] is selected;
  3. Press the OK button to enter the submenu;
  4. Press the [up-arrow] / [down-arrow] buttons to select one of the 8 available lullabies, you can choose single playback, loop (all 8 lullabies) to play or stop [stop-symbol];
  5. Press the OK button to confirm;

Note: The default lullaby setting is ON.

4.6 Settings

4.6.1 Alarm Setting

  1. Press the MENU key, the Main Menu will appear.
  2. Press the [up-arrow] / [down-arrow] / [left-arrow] / [right-arrow] keys until the Settings icon [settings-symbol] is selected.
  3. Press the MENU key. The Settings submenu will appear.
  4. Press the [left-arrow] / [right-arrow] keys until the alarm icon [alarm-symbol] is selected.
  5. Press the OK button to enter the submenu, then press the [up-arrow] / [down-arrow] keys to select the alarm time you need.
  6. Press the OK button to confirm;
  7. Press the [back-arrow] button to exit.

Note 1: The minimum unit is 0.5 hour. The maximum setting is 5 hours (7 levels).

Note 2: Once the alarm is turned on, the alarm icon [alarm-symbol] will be displayed on the screen.

Note 3: The default alarm setting is OFF.

Note 4: When the alarm is sounding, press any key on the main unit to turn off the alarm.

Note 5: If you do not turn off the alarm, the alarm will sound for 1 minute. After three minutes, the alarm will sound again for 1 minute. The alarm will sound three times in total, then it will turn off.

4.6.2 Date/Time Setting

  1. Press the MENU key, the Main Menu will appear.
  2. Press the [up-arrow] / [down-arrow] / [left-arrow] / [right-arrow] keys until the Settings icon [settings-symbol] is selected.
  3. Press the MENU key. The Settings submenu will appear.
  4. Press the [left-arrow] / [right-arrow] keys until the time icon [time-symbol] is selected.
  5. Press the OK button to enter the submenu, then press the [left-arrow] / [right-arrow] keys to select the Month, Day and Year; press the [up-arrow] / [down-arrow] keys to configure the desired month, day, and year.
  6. Press the [left-arrow] / [right-arrow] keys to select the 12H or 24H time format.

4.7 Power Saving

This mode allows you to control the sound activation of your baby unit. If there is no sound around the baby unit for 15 seconds, it will stop transmitting audio and turn off the parent unit's screen. When the baby unit detects any sound louder than the sensitivity level, it will start transmitting to the parent unit again and turn on the parent unit's screen. To change the ECO level, follow the instructions below.

  1. Press the OK button and the menu bar will appear;
  2. Press the [up-arrow] / [down-arrow] keys until the ECO icon [eco-symbol] is selected;
  3. Press the OK button in the submenu, then press the [up-arrow] / [down-arrow] buttons to select the desired level;
  4. Press the OK button to confirm;
  5. Press the [back-arrow] button to exit.

Note: [low-sensitivity-symbol] is the low sensitivity level, the baby has to make a lot of noise before the ECO function is activated;

Note: [medium-sensitivity-symbol] is the medium sensitivity level;

Note: [high-sensitivity-symbol] is the high sensitivity level, the baby does not have to make much noise before the ECO function is activated;

4.8 Language Settings

  1. Press the OK button and the menu bar will appear;
  2. Press the [up-arrow] / [down-arrow] / [left-arrow] / [right-arrow] keys until the language icon [language-symbol] is selected;
  3. Press the OK button to enter the submenu, then press the [up-arrow] / [down-arrow] / [left-arrow] / [right-arrow] keys to select the language you need;
  4. Press the OK button to confirm;
  5. Press the [back-arrow] button to exit.
