General Applications
The Qolsys IQ4 NS features the Quectel Wireless module, Model SC650T-NA (FCC ID: XMR2019SC650TNA), providing cellular connectivity across E-UTRA-FDD Bands 2, 4, 5, 7, 12, 13, 14, 25, 26, and 66. This module also supports Wi-Fi 2.4 / 5 GHz and Bluetooth Low Energy 4.2. Integrated main and diversity antennas on the Qolsys MB facilitate these features. Additionally, the IQ4 NS incorporates a Z-Wave module with an EFR32ZG23 modem for Z-Wave device communication in North America, operating at 908.4 MHz, 908.42 MHz, and 916 MHz. Embedded antennas are included and are not designed for removal or modification.
Installation and Operation
The module features three 8-pin receptacle interfaces for connecting to other modules such as PowerG, Zigbee, and other Security Radios. One slot is dedicated to Z-Wave, leaving two additional slots available for optional modules, which will come with their own antennas and FCC licenses.
The integrated Z-Wave operates at 908.4, 908.42, 916, 919.8, and 921.4 MHz, with an output power up to -2.8 dBm. Detailed data and protocol specifications are beyond the scope of this document. For technical specifications, please contact Qolsys.
