This document provides instructions for using the VEVOR Pellet Grill Smoker App with the Model VA-575W. VEVOR is committed to providing tools at competitive prices. 1. How to Download and Connect
- Plug in the grill.
- Press the power button once to turn on the grill. The display will show program codes and then default settings.
- To set up WiFi, press and hold the "Control Knob" button for 3-5 seconds until the WiFi indicator flashes.
- Open the VEVOR APP and follow the on-screen instructions to connect to the WiFi while the indicator is flashing.
Tips:
- Download and install the VEVOR APP by searching for "VEVOR" in the App Store or Google Play.
- After downloading, please review and acknowledge the User Agreement and Privacy Policy.
If the device cannot be searched:
- Ensure Bluetooth and location permissions are enabled.
- Restart Bluetooth or the control panel.
- Place the phone close to the grill.
- Restart the app and try adding the device again.
Connecting to WiFi:
- Keep your phone connected to WiFi and turn on Bluetooth.
- Click "+Add Device" on the homepage. The device will be added automatically.
- The device enters network distribution mode.
- Once the device is found, enter the WiFi password and click "Next".
- The added device will appear in the device list. You can control it by entering the control page.
Network Configuration Notes:
- For best results, keep the phone, device, and router close together during network configuration.
- The APP only supports 2.4GHz networks.
- If using a dual-band router, ensure the 2.4GHz band is enabled or only the 2.4GHz band is active. You can check this in your router's management settings.
- Verify your phone is connected to the 2.4GHz network. If connected to 5GHz, switch to 2.4GHz before connecting the controller.
2. How to Register a New Account
- Open the VEVOR APP and navigate to the login page. Click "Sign Up".
- Sign up using your Email ID: enter your Email and desired password, then click "Create Account".
- Enter the verification code received via email.
- Upon successful signup, you can log in automatically to use the APP.
3. How to Reset Password
- On the login page, click "Forgot Password?".
- Enter the Email ID used during the initial signup.
- Follow the instructions sent to your email to change your password.
- Log in with your new password.
5. How to Rename and Disconnect
From the "Home" screen:
- Tap the settings icon (three dots) on the right corner of a connected device.
- Select "Rename" to change the device's name. Enter the new name and click "Confirm".
- Select "Device (Disconnect)" to remove the grill from your account and the App. Click "Confirm" to proceed.
6. Operation Buttons
The app interface displays the following controls:
- Shutdown Button: Shuts down the grill; it cannot be used to turn it on. [?]
- Temperature Display: Shows the current temperature. An arc-shaped frame visually represents the temperature.
- Target Temp: Click to set the oven alarm temperature. The bell icon [?] turns red when the set temperature is reached.
- Meat Temperature Probes: Displays readings for probes (P1, P2), showing name, actual temperature, and target temperature. Click the bell icon [?] to set probe alarm temperatures.
- Change Temperature Units: Toggle between Fahrenheit (°F) and Celsius (°C).
- Set a Timer: Set a countdown timer.
7. Error Codes and Troubleshooting
The app may display the following error messages:
- RTD Connection Error: Check wire connection. Contact Customer Service. [❌]
- High Temp: Warning: Overheat. Reduce propane burn, wait for the chamber temperature to cool down, then restart the startup cycle. [?]
- Low Temp: Warning: Low Temperature. Clean out the hopper and fire pot. Ensure pellets are being sent. Check the burn pot to confirm pellets are being sent. Use the prime button to advance pellets to the burn pot if empty. Begin startup cycle again. [❄️]
- Low Pellet: Warning: Low Pellet Level. Clean out the hopper and fire pot. Ensure pellets are being sent. Check the burn pot to confirm pellets are being sent. Use the prime button to advance pellets to the burn pot if empty. Begin startup cycle again. [?]
- Ignition Fails: Ignition has failed. Clean out the hopper and fire pot. Check the wire connection and confirm pellets are being sent to the burn pot. If empty, use the prime button to advance pellets to the burn pot. Begin startup cycle again. [⚡]
