- Braking: Release the accelerator for the kinetic energy recovery system (KERS) to brake slowly. Squeeze the brake lever for a sudden stop.
- Turning: Tilt your body towards the desired steering direction and slowly turn the handlebar.
Riding Notice
Adhere to these guidelines for safe riding:
- Do not ride in heavy rain.
- Maintain a medium or low speed (around 5 mph) when riding over speed bumps, elevator door sills, bumpy roads, or uneven surfaces. Bend your knees slightly to absorb shocks.
- Be aware of and watch out for doors, elevators, and other overhead obstacles.
- Do not accelerate when going downhill.
- Do not press the accelerator when walking alongside the scooter.
- Always steer clear of obstacles.
- Do not hang heavy items on the handlebar.
- Keep both feet on the deck at all times.
Dangerous Actions
Avoid the following actions to ensure safety:
- Do not ride in traffic lanes or residential areas where vehicles and pedestrians are present.
- Do not turn the handlebar violently during high-speed riding.
- Do not ride in puddles deeper than 1.5 inches.
- No passengers are allowed, including children.
- Keep your feet off the rear mudguard.
- Always keep your hands on the handlebar.
- Do not touch the disc brake rotor.
- Do not attempt to ride up or down stairs, or jump over obstacles.
Charging
- The scooter is fully charged when the charger's LED indicator turns green from red.
- The scooter has charging protection that automatically stops charging once fully charged.
- It is not recommended to charge the scooter for more than 24 consecutive hours.
- Do not connect the charger if the charging port is wet.
- Keep the charging port closed when not charging.
Disc Brake Adjustment
Adjusting Brake Sensitivity:
You will need a hex wrench to remove screws on the rocker.
- Too Sensitive: Rotate the disc brake rocker down slightly, then re-tighten screws to the brake cable core.
- Cannot Stop: Rotate the disc brake rocker up slightly, then re-tighten screws to the brake cable core.
Note: The disc brake may squeak during initial use as it breaks in. This is normal and does not affect performance.
Removing Brake Noise:
- Ensure the scooter is turned off. Place the scooter on a desk for easier access.
- Loosen two screws on the brake pump (not the rocker screws).
- Adjust the position of the disc brake pump so the brake disc is centered between the two brake pads.
- Ensure the brake disc and pads do not touch each other.
- Hold the disc brake pump in the adjusted position and re-tighten the screws.
Daily Care and Maintenance
Cleaning and Storage:
- Wipe stains with a damp cloth. For stubborn stains, use toothpaste and a toothbrush, then wipe with a damp cloth.
- Notes:
- Do not use alcohol, gasoline, kerosene, or corrosive solvents.
- Avoid high-pressure water spray on the deck. Ensure the scooter is off, the charger is unplugged, and the rubber flap is closed to prevent water leakage and electric shock.
- Store the scooter indoors in a dry, cool environment when not in use.
- Avoid prolonged outdoor exposure to sunlight, overheating, or over-cooling, as this shortens battery life.
Battery Maintenance:
- Use only original battery packs. Using other brands may pose safety risks.
- Do not touch battery contacts, dismantle, or puncture the casing. Keep contacts away from metal objects to prevent short circuits.
- Use the original power adapter to prevent damage or fire.
- Dispose of used batteries according to local regulations to protect the environment.
- Fully charge the battery after each use to prolong its lifespan.
Storage and Disposal:
- Store the scooter in a cool, dry place between -4°F and 104°F. High humidity can cause condensation and damage the battery. The device is not intended for use above 6562 ft elevation. Protect from UV rays, rain, and elements by storing indoors.
- Recharge the scooter after the battery is nearly depleted. If the battery level is low, charge it promptly.
- Charge the scooter every two months to maintain battery health.
