Product Overview
The handheld weather station features a display with several areas and physical buttons for operation. The numbered components are:
- 1. SNOOZE / LIGHT button: Used to silence the alarm temporarily or activate the backlight.
- 2. Weather Forecast & Barometric Trend Area: Displays weather predictions and barometric pressure trends.
- 3. Temperature & Humidity Area: Shows current temperature and humidity readings.
- 4. Clock / Alarm Area: Displays the current time, day of the week, and alarm status.
- 5. Moon Phase: Indicates the current phase of the moon.
- 6. ALARM button: Allows viewing and setting the alarm.
- 7. MEM button: Accesses memory to view current, maximum, and minimum temperature and humidity readings.
- 8. MODE button: Cycles through different display modes and settings.
- 9. + and - buttons: Used to increase or decrease settings during configuration.
- 10. Strap hole: For attaching a strap or lanyard.
- 11. Alarm activation/deactivation button: A dedicated button to turn the alarm on or off. When active, an icon appears.
- 12. LOCK button: Prevents accidental changes by locking all buttons.
- 13. Table stand / Belt clip: A versatile attachment for standing the unit on a surface or clipping it to a belt.
- 14. Battery compartment: Houses the power source.
- 15. °C / °F switch: Selects the temperature unit of measurement.
- 16. RESET hole: For resetting the device to its default settings.
Getting Started
Batteries
This unit operates using 2 x CR2032 batteries. Insert the batteries before first use, ensuring correct polarity as indicated within the battery compartment. A low battery indicator [?] will appear when the batteries need replacement.
Table Stand or Belt Clip
The unit can be used with a belt clip, which also functions as a table stand. To use it as a stand, detach the clip from the back of the monitor. Insert one side of the clip into the lower slot on the back of the unit, then snap the other side into the corresponding lower slot.
Clock
The product displays the current time and day of the week. The language for the day of the week can be set to English, French, German, Italian, or Spanish.
Set Clock
- Press and hold the MODE button for 2 seconds. The Clock Area will blink.
- Select the hour, minute, year, month, day, and language. Use the + or - buttons to change each setting. Press MODE to confirm each setting and move to the next.
Language options: (E) English, (F) French, (D) German, (I) Italian, (S) Spanish.
Switch Clock Display
Press the MODE button to toggle between the Clock with Seconds display and the Clock with Weekday display.
Alarms
This product is equipped with a 2-minute alarm.
View Alarm Settings
Press the ALARM button. The Alarm Time and an alarm icon [?] will appear in the Clock Area.
Set Alarm
- Press the ALARM button to switch to the Alarm display.
- Press and hold the ALARM button again for 2 seconds. The Alarm settings will blink.
- Select the hour and minute. Use the + or - buttons to change the settings. Press ALARM to confirm.
Activate Alarm
Press the dedicated alarm activation/deactivation button [?] to activate or deactivate the alarm. The alarm icon [?] will appear in the Clock / Alarm Area when the alarm is activated.
Silence Alarm
When the alarm time is reached, the alarm will sound for 2 minutes. Press SNOOZE / LIGHT to silence it for 8 minutes. Alternatively, press the alarm activation/deactivation button [?] to turn it off until the next day. If no button is pressed, the alarm will automatically silence after 2 minutes and will sound again after 8 minutes.
Barometer
This product tracks barometric pressure changes over the past 24 hours to provide weather forecasts and a trend line indicating the direction of barometric change.

Weather Forecast
This product forecasts the weather for the next 12 to 24 hours within a 30-50 km (19-31 mile) radius with 70 to 75 percent accuracy. The weather forecast is always displayed.

Temperature and Humidity
This product can display current, minimum, and maximum temperature and humidity percentage information.
Select Temperature Unit
Slide the °C / °F switch to the desired location. The switch is located inside the battery compartment.
Moon Phase
The calendar must be set for this feature to work correctly. Press the + or - buttons to view the moon phase for the next or previous day. Press and hold the + or - buttons to scan quickly through the years (2001 to 2099).

Backlight
Press the SNOOZE / LIGHT button to activate the backlight.
Key Lock
The buttons can be locked to prevent accidental changes. To activate the lock, press and hold the LOCK button for two seconds. Repeat the same procedure to unlock the buttons.
Precautions
- Do not subject the unit to excessive force, shock, dust, extreme temperature, or humidity.
- Do not cover the ventilation holes with items such as newspapers, curtains, etc.
- Do not immerse the unit in water. If liquid spills on it, dry it immediately with a soft, lint-free cloth.
- Do not clean the unit with abrasive or corrosive materials.
- Do not tamper with the unit's internal components. This invalidates the warranty.
- Use only fresh batteries. Do not mix new and old batteries.
- Images shown in this manual may differ from the actual display.
- When disposing of this product, ensure it is collected separately for special treatment and not as normal household waste.
- Placement of this product on certain types of wood may result in damage to its finish, for which Oregon Scientific will not be responsible. Consult the furniture manufacturer's care instructions for information.
- The contents of this manual may not be reproduced without the permission of the manufacturer.
- Do not dispose of old batteries as unsorted municipal waste. Collection of such waste separately for special treatment is necessary.
- Please note that some units are equipped with a battery safety strip. Remove the strip from the battery compartment before first use.
