Before Starting
Please read these instructions thoroughly before installation and keep them for future reference. Exercise extreme care when dealing with electrical equipment. Improper assembly can undermine the safety and longevity of the product.
Important Information
This light fitting must be connected to the supply earth. If your lighting circuit does not have an earth, consult a qualified electrician to provide an earth facility. This fitting operates on 240V mains voltage. Please visit the Tala website to see recommended dimmers. This product is suitable for use in bathrooms and outdoor locations*.
Warning
Always switch off electricity supply at the mains during installation and maintenance. It is recommended that the fuse is withdrawn or the circuit breaker is switched off whilst work is in progress. Do not simply turn off the power at the wall switch. All fittings must be installed in accordance with current Building Regulations and IEE Wiring Regulations.

Provided Components

- A: 1 x Wall light
- B: 1 x Wall bracket
- C: 2 x Grub screws
- D: 1 x Junction box
- E: Screws and rawl plugs (Always use screws and plugs that are appropriate to the wall/ceiling)
Installation Steps
Step 1: Mounting the Bracket
Attach the wall bracket (B) to your wall or ceiling using appropriate screws and plugs. Ensure the central keyhole slot aligns with your wall cavity. Always use screws and plugs that are suitable for the specific ceiling or wall type.

Step 2: Wiring the Light
First, identify your household wiring using current Building Regulations and IEE Wiring Regulations. Connect the wall light wiring to your household supply, as illustrated, using an appropriate junction box. The diagram shows household mains (220-240V IN) connecting to the light. The green/yellow (Earth) wire connects to the Earth terminal, the brown or red (L) wire connects to the L terminal, and the blue or black (N) wire connects to the N terminal. The earth wire is shown attached to Part A of the wall light.

Step 3: Securing the Light Fixture
Align part A (the main light fixture) onto part B (the wall bracket). Ensure the grub screws (D) are loosened to allow part A to sit flush against the wall. Once aligned, tighten the grub screws to secure the fixture in place.

Step 4: Installing the Bulb
Insert your bulb into the wall light fitting and rotate it clockwise until it is securely tightened.

Care and Cleaning
We recommend cleaning the product with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive materials or solvents, as these will damage the product's finish.
Warranty and After-Care
This product comes with a two-year warranty. If you experience a functional defect with the product during this period, please contact the Tala customer service team at customerservice@tala.co.uk.
Environmental Information
The symbol ♻️ indicates that electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) should not be mixed with general household waste. For recovery and recycling, please take this product to a designated collection point, where it will be accepted free of charge. Many retailers offer this service in-store. Disposing of this product correctly helps save valuable resources and prevents potential negative effects on human health and the environment.
*IP44 rating provides protection against solid objects larger than 1mm and against water splashing from any angle.
