How to Connect the Keyboard with a Computer

Wired Connection

  1. Slide the 2.4G/OFF/BT switch on the left side of the keyboard to OFF.
  2. Take out the USB A to USB Type C cable from the package and connect the keyboard to your computer. The LED marked with 'M' will twinkle 5 times, indicating successful connection.
  3. The computer will recognize and configure the keyboard automatically.
  4. Once the keyboard is powered up, charging begins. The LED marked with 'M' lights up red.
  5. It will turn white when the keyboard is fully recharged.

2.4G Wireless Connection

  1. Slide the 2.4G/OFF/BT switch on the left side of the keyboard to 2.4G.
  2. Press [FN] + [4] for about 3 seconds. The LED marked with 'M' flashes quickly in yellow. Plug the USB receiver into any available USB port on your computer within 20 seconds. The computer will recognize and configure the keyboard automatically.
  3. The indicator will flash red when the battery is low. Please recharge the keyboard in time by plugging the Type-C cable into the computer, or it will turn off automatically soon. Please note the LED marked with 'M' will be lit red while charging and turn green when charging is completed (in 2.4G connecting mode).

Bluetooth Connection

  1. Slide the 2.4G/OFF/BT switch on the left side of the keyboard to BT.
  2. Press [FN] + [1] (or [2]/[3] for other Bluetooth devices). The LED marked with 'M' flashes in blue (or cyan/magenta for others).
  3. Turn on Bluetooth and scan for available devices on your computer or smartphone. It will find "K656-RGB-PRO 3.0 Keyboard" or "K656-RGB-PRO 5.0 Keyboard" devices. Select one to connect automatically.
  4. The indicator will flash red when the battery is low. Please recharge the keyboard in time by plugging the Type-C cable into the computer, or it will turn off automatically soon. Please note the LED marked with 'M' will be lit red while charging and turn cyan/magenta when charging is completed (in Bluetooth connecting mode).

Power Management and Battery

Sleep and Power Safe Mode

In 2.4Ghz and Bluetooth connection modes, to save power, the keyboard enters sleep mode under two conditions. All LEDs and backlight turn off. Click any key to wake up the keyboard.

Battery Status Indicators

There are 4 indicators on the top left of the keyboard, indicating the power status at 25% - 50% - 75% - 100%.

How to Recharge the Keyboard

Find the USB A to USB Type C cable in the packaging. Plug it into the keyboard and connect it to a computer for charging. The LED indicator ('M') on the keyboard will turn red. Remark: The LED indicator ('M') will turn red when the keyboard is low on battery.

DO NOT replace the battery with a different model.

DO NOT use this product if the battery shows signs of damage, including but not limited to tearing, deformation, leakage, or the smell of electrolytic material.

DO NOT impact, bend, alter, disassemble, or otherwise damage the battery, as the contents are volatile, hazardous, and can be harmful.
