Warranty Information
Thank you for choosing Redragon. Please read the following warranty rules carefully:
- Repair is guaranteed for failure due to electrical circuit problems within 18 months of purchase.
- Damages from disassembly, impacts, submersion, improper voltage, or natural disasters are not covered.
- Consumable parts and spare parts replacement are not included in the warranty.
Keyboard Layout and Functions
The keyboard features a 98-key layout with various function keys and a control knob.
MAC OS Key Combinations:
- FN + F1-F12: Screen brightness, multiple task, Siri, computer desk, search, media controls (previous, play/pause, next), mute, volume up/down.
- FN + P: Home
- FN + [: END
- FN + ]: SCRLK
- FN + ;: PRTSC
- FN + ': PAUSE
Windows OS Key Combinations:
- FN + F1-F12: Screen brightness, multiple task, voice control, computer desk, search, media controls (previous, play/pause, next), mute, volume up/down.
- FN + P: Home
- FN + [: END
- FN + ]: SCRLK
- FN + ;: PRTSC
- FN + ': PAUSE
Knob Functionality:
- Default: Volume control. Short press to mute/unmute.
- Long press (3s): Switches knob function to brightness control. Short press to cycle through 20 backlight patterns. Long press again (3s) to switch back to volume control.
Backlight Settings:
- FN + INS: Change backlight mode.
- FN + PGUP: Change backlight color.
- FN + [ / ]: Adjust backlight speed (slow down/speed up).
- FN + ↑ / ↓: Adjust backlight brightness (level up/level down).
- FN + ESC (hold 3s): Reset to default settings.
Connectivity Options
The keyboard supports three modes of connection:
Wired Connection:
- Slide the switch to 'OFF'.
- Connect the USB Type-C cable to the keyboard and computer.
- The 'M' indicator LED will turn green. Charging begins, indicated by a red LED.
2.4G Wireless Connection:
- Slide the switch to '2.4G'.
- Press and hold [FN] + [4] for 3 seconds; the 'M' indicator LED will flash yellow.
- Plug the USB receiver into a computer USB port within 20 seconds.
- The computer will automatically recognize and configure the keyboard. The 'M' indicator LED will be solid yellow.
Bluetooth Connection:
- Slide the switch to 'BT'.
- Press [FN] + [1] (or [2]/[3] for other devices); the 'M' indicator LED will flash blue (or cyan/magenta).
- Turn on Bluetooth on your computer or smartphone and scan for devices. Select 'BT3.0 Keyboard' or 'BT5.0 KB' to connect.
OS Support:
Supports Windows (XP/Vista/7/8/10/11) and Mac OS.
MAC/WIN switch: Slide the switch on the left side of the keyboard to select the operating system.
Power Management and Charging
Keyboard Sleep Mode:
- In 2.4Ghz and Bluetooth modes, the keyboard enters sleep mode after a period of inactivity to save power. All LEDs and backlights turn off. Click any key to wake it up.
- Power Save Mode: Backlights turn off after 3 minutes of inactivity.
- Sleep Mode: Backlights turn off and 2.4G connection is inactive after 30 minutes of inactivity.
Recharging the Keyboard:
- Use the provided USB A to USB Type C cable to connect the keyboard to a computer for charging.
- Battery Indicator LEDs:
- Red: < 20% power
- Purple: < 40% power
- Blue: < 60% power
- Cyan: < 80% power
- Green: 80%+ power
- Battery Status Check: Press FN + ALT. The number keys [1] through [0] indicate power status from 0%-100%. If [1] and [3] are lit red, the keyboard has low power and needs charging.
Battery Safety Guidelines
CAUTION: Failing to follow all safety guidelines may result in product damage, explosion, fire, and/or electric shock.
- DO NOT replace the battery with a different model.
- DO NOT use if the battery shows signs of damage (tearing, deformation, leakage, odor).
- DO NOT touch leaking battery material; seek medical attention if contact occurs.
- DO NOT expose the battery to liquid, heat, electricity (outside the product), or non-standard conditions.
- DO NOT remove the battery except for proper disposal and recycling.
- DO NOT impact, bend, alter, or disassemble the battery.
Troubleshooting (FAQ)
- Keyboard not responding: Ensure the USB cable is correctly connected or try a different USB port.
- Liquid spill: Immediately unplug the USB cable. Wipe off excess liquid and allow the keyboard to dry naturally in a ventilated place before next use.
