40G, 100G, 400G and 800G Cabling Reference Guide
This document serves as a guide to select the best Corning Optical Communications bill-of-materials (BOM) for your structured cabling application (scenario).
Arista Transceiver Connector Types
This cabling guide provides component information necessary to work with 40G, 100G, and 400G transceivers and breakout options within the same rack or row and across data center scenarios. Arista optical transceiver modules have different connector types (refer to the Arista Transceiver and Cable Guide). With the introduction of 400G, new form factors have been released, including multimode 16-F MPO angled and single-mode CS® and SN® connectors. Corning's EDGE8® solution is designed to support both single-mode and multimode optical interfaces based on the use of two, eight, and 16 fibers.
The following is a partial list of Arista transceivers by connector type:

Annex 2: Polarity Drawings
Polarity drawings, often referred to as fiber optic polarity diagrams, are essential when designing and implementing data center links using fiber optic cabling. They play a crucial role in ensuring proper connectivity, signal integrity, and compatibility between different network components. This section covers specific polarity drawings applicable to the previously described scenarios.
(Visual diagrams illustrating polarity for various scenarios are presented in this section.)
