Initial Fill Instructions
WARNING: This lighter does not contain butane - be sure to carefully fill the lighter according to these instructions.
- Set flame adjustment to minimum position.
- Fill with Zippo Butane or other high-quality butane gas. Please ensure proper mating between the refill container and fuel reservoir of the lighter during refilling to avoid leakage of fuel. Do not use lighter for a minimum of 4 hours. This is to let the butane and internal parts stabilize before use. Igniting the lighter prematurely could cause an excessive and dangerous flame height.
- When igniting lighter for the first time, be sure that the flame adjustment is set to the minimum position. Use with caution and aim safely away from persons and combustible materials.
- After the flame is stabilized, adjust to preferred flame height setting.

- Always refill Product in the position shown. Place Butane fuel nozzle into filling valve [D] and depress several times with firm, even pressure. For safe filling: ensure proper mating between fuel can and Refill Valve. Hold for several seconds. Repeat if necessary.
- Wait at least two minutes after refueling before using.
