General Warnings
- This appliance is suitable for use in a bathtub or shower. When using it in a shower, it is recommended to apply shaving foam or gel.
- Never use the appliance with a damaged foil.
- Children aged 8 years and above, and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, may use this appliance if they are supervised or have received instruction on its safe use and understand the associated hazards.
- Children shall not play with the appliance.
- Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be performed by children unless they are supervised.
Specific Precautions
- Do not modify or attempt to repair the appliance yourself; consult authorized service personnel.
- Always switch off the appliance before cleaning or maintenance to avoid electric shock or injury.
- If the appliance malfunctions or shows signs of damage, stop use immediately and contact a service center.
- Do not press the foil or inner blade too hard, as this can cause damage or skin injury.
- Avoid touching the inner blade directly with your fingers to prevent cuts.
- Keep batteries away from children.
- If battery fluid leaks and comes into contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention.
- Remove batteries if the appliance is not used for extended periods to prevent leakage or damage.
- Do not short-circuit, disassemble, heat, or dispose of batteries in fire.
- Do not mix different types, brands, or new and used batteries.

How to Use
Shaving
- Turn the protective cap (4) 180° to expose the shaving head.
- Push the switch (3) up to turn the shaver on.
- Hold the shaver at a right angle to the skin and move it gently against the direction of hair growth. Do not press the foil too hard.
Long Hair Trimmer (M-90 Model Only)
- To trim sideburns and moustaches, slide the long hair trimmer (5) to the right and turn on the appliance.
- After use, slide it back to its original position.
Using with Foam or Gel
For use in the shower, it is recommended to use shaving foam or gel.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Regular cleaning ensures optimal shaving performance.
Cleaning Under Running Water
- Turn on the shaver and rinse the shaver head under warm running water to remove hair and residue. Liquid soap without abrasive substances can also be used.
- Rinse off any foam and let the shaver run for a few more seconds.
- Turn off the shaver and remove the foil (1). Let the shaver dry completely.
- If cleaning under tap water regularly, apply a drop of light machine oil to the long hair trimmer and foil weekly.
Cleaning with Brush
- Remove the foil (1) and gently tap it against a flat surface to dislodge hair.
- Use the brush (7) to thoroughly clean the cutter block (2). Do not use the brush on the foil, as it may cause damage.
- After cleaning, turn the protective cap (4) 180° to cover the shaving head. This locks the switch to prevent accidental operation.
Maintenance Note
For even better shaving performance, consider using a Braun shaver cleaner (sold separately). This helps to remove skin oils, disinfects the blades, and provides lubrication for a smoother shave.
Battery Replacement
- Ensure the appliance is switched off before replacing batteries.
- Turn the battery cover (6) 90° to open it.
- Insert two AA alkaline batteries (1.5V), observing the correct polarity as marked inside the compartment.
- Ensure the battery compartment cover is dry and clean before closing.
Warranty and After-sales Service
Warranty
- A 1-year warranty is provided from the date of purchase, covering the main unit. Consumable parts such as foils and blades, and accessories are not covered.
- Ensure the warranty card is filled out correctly by the retailer with the date of purchase. Keep the warranty card and proof of purchase safe.
Repair Service
- For repairs during the warranty period, present the product and warranty card to the retailer where purchased or to a Braun Repair Center.
- For repairs after the warranty period, paid repair services may be available.
- If you move, consult your nearest retailer or Braun Repair Center.
