2. Preparing Your Robot Vacuum 3-in-1 E20

Follow these steps to prepare your robot for use.

2.1 Important Tips Before Use

2.2 Prepare the Robot

  1. Remove stickers, laser protection film, and foam packaging.
  2. Ensure the side brushes are correctly installed (you will hear a click). [Image showing brush installation]

Note: Do not remove the protective film if the product needs to be returned or repaired.

2.3 Connect to Power Supply

Connect the power cord to the Self-Empty Station and a wall outlet. [Image showing power cord connection]

2.4 Place the Self-Empty Station

Place the Self-Empty Station against a wall on a hard, level surface. Install the dock assist mat. Ensure the station has a strong Wi-Fi signal and is easily accessible. Maintain a clearance of at least 4.9 ft (1.5 m) in front and 1.6 ft (0.5 m) at the sides. [Image showing station placement and clearances]

Note: Always keep the Self-Empty Station plugged in for automatic return.

2.5 Charge the Robot

Note: For first-time use, charge the battery until the power indicator turns green.

3. Using Your Robot with the eufy Clean App

Control your robot via the eufy Clean app for full functionality.

Before you start, ensure:

3.1 Download the App

  1. Download the eufy Clean app from the App Store or Google Play, or via: https://dl-eufy.eufylife.com/qcdl/index.html?flow=eufy
  2. Open the app and create a user account.
  3. Tap 'Add Device' and select '3-in-1 E20' to connect the robot.
  4. Follow in-app instructions for Wi-Fi setup.

The app allows control over cleaning modes, scheduling, suction levels, status, notifications, and “No-Go” zones.

Note: The robot does not support 5GHz Wi-Fi. Use 'Find My Robot' in the app if the robot gets stuck. App features may be updated.

3.2 Quick Mapping before First Use

After connecting, tap 'Enter' then 'Start' for quick mapping followed by a cleaning cycle. The robot is ready to clean once mapping is complete. [Image showing quick mapping in the app]

3.3 Set Up No-Go Zone

Use the eufy Clean app to define restricted “No-Go” zones, preventing the robot from entering specific areas. This feature is for dividing cleaning zones, not for hazardous areas. [Images showing setting up No-Go Zones in the app]

3.4 Editing Carpets

Customize carpet settings in the eufy Clean app to protect carpets. The robot will avoid carpets thicker than 0.98 in (25 mm). Tap 'Edit Map' > 'Edit Carpet' to configure. [Images showing carpet editing in the app]

Available Carpet Types: Shag Carpet, High Pile, Medium Pile, Low Pile.

3.5 Schedule Cleaning

Schedule cleaning times via the eufy Clean app. You can set specific times and customize cleaning schedules from Sunday to Saturday. [Images showing scheduling in the app]

3.6 Select a Cleaning Mode

3.6.1 Home Cleaning Mode

Tap 'Start' in the app for Home Cleaning. The robot cleans edges first, then follows a Z-shaped path, returning to the Self-Empty Station upon completion. [Image showing Home Cleaning mode in the app]

To pause, tap 'Pause' in the app or press the [Pause] button on the robot.

3.6.2 Room Cleaning

Select specific rooms for cleaning in the app. You can set suction power and cleaning times for each room. The robot cleans only selected rooms and returns to the station. [Image showing Room Cleaning mode in the app]

3.6.3 Zone Cleaning

3.7 Selecting a Suction Power Level

Choose suction power levels in the eufy Clean app: ECO, Standard (Default), Turbo, and Maximum. [Image showing suction power selection in the app]

The robot will use the last selected suction power level for future cleaning sessions.

4. Using Your Robot with Apple Siri / Amazon Alexa / The Google Assistant

Control your robot using voice commands with Siri, Amazon Alexa, or Google Assistant.

Before you start, ensure:

  1. Open the eufy Clean app and find 'Smart Integrations'.
  2. Follow on-screen instructions.

5. Using Your Cordless Stick Vacuum

5.1 Detach the Cordless Stick Vacuum

Press the quick release button and lift to detach the Cordless Stick Vacuum. [Image showing detachment]

5.2 Install a Vacuum Cleaner Head

Select and attach a vacuum cleaner head to the Cordless Stick Vacuum. Adjust length carefully to avoid pinching. [Images showing head installation]

5.3 Start / Pause Cleaning

Press the [MODE] button for 2 seconds to start or pause cleaning. Press the [MODE] button to switch suction modes (ECO, Standard, Turbo, Maximum). [Image showing stick vacuum controls and suction levels]

5.4 Charge the Cordless Stick Vacuum

Insert the Cordless Stick Vacuum into the Self-Empty Station until it clicks. Press the [MODE] button to power on, then press the [Home] button to return to the station. [Images showing charging the stick vacuum]

6. Auto Dust Collection

The dust bin empties automatically when Auto Dust Collection is triggered. This occurs when:

You can also trigger deep dust collection by pressing the [MODE] button for 3 seconds or via the app.

7. Enabling / Disabling Child Safety Lock

Press and hold the [Home] and [MODE] buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds to activate the child safety lock. This locks all buttons to prevent accidental operation. [Image showing buttons for child lock]

To disable, press and hold the [Home] and [MODE] buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds again.

This function is also available in the eufy Clean app.

8. Cleaning and Maintenance

Turn off the device and unplug the power cord before cleaning or maintenance.

8.2 Clean the Dust Bin, Filter and Jet Cyclone

  1. Rotate the dust bin to unlock and empty it. [Image showing dust bin removal]
  2. Rotate the filter and sponge to unlock and remove them. [Image showing filter removal]
  3. Remove debris from the jet cyclone by opening the silicone lid and knocking out debris. [Image showing jet cyclone cleaning]
  4. Rinse the dust bin, sponge, and filter with water. Air-dry the sponge and filter completely. Ensure the dust bin is dry before reuse. [Image showing rinsing and drying]

Important: Do not use a brush, hot water, or detergent on the filter. Do not use a wet filter. Contact customer service for new filters after 6 months of use. Keep used filters away from children.

8.3 Clean the Rolling Brush

  1. Push release buttons to unlock and remove the brush guard.
  2. Lift the rolling brush to remove debris. Remove tangled hair manually or with scissors.
  3. Reinstall the rolling brush and brush guard, ensuring the release buttons click into place. [Images showing rolling brush cleaning and reinstallation]

Ensure the two release buttons click into place when installing the rolling brush.

8.4 Clean the Side Brush

Regularly clean the side brush to remove tangled hair and debris.

  1. Remove the side brush.
  2. Unwind and pull off hair or substances wrapped around the brush and robot.

Only use the side brush when completely dry.

8.5 Clean the Floor Brush

  1. Push the release tab to unlock and remove the brush guard.

8.6 Clean the Sensors and Charging Contact Pins

Regularly dust the sensors and charging contact pins with a clean cloth for optimal performance. [Image showing sensors and contact pins]

Do not use detergents or liquids. Avoid excessive force. Do not use hard materials to scrape contact pins.

8.7 Clean the Swivel Wheel

Periodically clean the swivel wheel to remove entangled hair and dust particles.

  1. Pull out the swivel wheel with a tool (e.g., screwdriver).
  2. Clean any hair or debris around the wheel or inside the cavity.

Do not clean the swivel wheel with water.

8.8 Replace the Dust Bag

Follow in-app prompts to replace the dust bag when full.

  1. Open the dust cover.
  2. Pull up to remove the dust bag.
  3. Dispose of the used dust bag.
  4. Install a new dust bag.

Warranty period is determined by the seller and local regulations, with a minimum of 12 months. The 12-month warranty covers the main unit and battery, excluding consumables like brushes. This warranty does not affect statutory consumer rights.
