DX Double Driver: How to Play

Set Contents

The Gaia Memories included are: Luna Memory, Heat Memory, Cyclone Memory, Joker Memory, Metal Memory, and Trigger Memory.

Important Warnings and Precautions

• Contains small parts. There is a risk of choking, so do not give to children under 3 years of age.

▲ Caution

• This product contains electronic components. If you use a pacemaker, please be careful not to bring this product close to your body.
• Do not insert fingers or other body parts into the gaps of moving parts, as this may cause injury.
• Do not play roughly, such as by hitting or swinging the product.
• Be careful not to get fingers, hair, or clothing caught in moving parts.
• Do not continuously look at the flashing LED light, as it may cause discomfort.

Regarding Battery Misuse (Risk of Heat, Rupture, or Leakage):

• If a battery is accidentally swallowed, consult a doctor immediately. If leaked liquid gets into your eyes, consult a doctor immediately.
• If leaked liquid gets on skin or clothing, wash with water.
• Battery replacement should be performed by a guardian.
• Do not mix old and new batteries, or batteries of different types.
• Batteries are dangerous if swallowed. Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, consult a doctor immediately.
• Never use secondary (rechargeable) batteries.
• Insert batteries correctly, observing the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals.
• Do not short-circuit, charge, disassemble, heat, or incinerate batteries.
• Dispose of batteries according to your local waste disposal guidelines.
• Do not lick or put button batteries in your mouth.

Usage Precautions:

• Discard plastic packaging immediately after opening.
• The batteries included are for testing purposes. Replace them when the sound becomes quieter or the light becomes weaker.
• This product is composed of precise electronic parts. Do not drop it, get it wet, soil it, or disassemble it. Avoid storing or using it in places with high or low temperatures.
• This product has painted parts. When storing, be careful not to let it come into contact with other items (such as resin products or furniture, sofas) to prevent color transfer.
• Do not forcibly pull or bend moving parts or attachment parts in an unnatural direction.
• Some sounds may have different intonations or be difficult to hear due to the product's characteristics; please understand this.
• To prevent damage, do not insert anything other than Gaia Memories into the main unit. Inserting commercial USB memory sticks, etc., may cause damage.
• Gaia Memories cannot be inserted into computers.
• Due to battery characteristics (and the structure of the Gaia Memory), strong impacts may cause temporary sound stoppage or incorrect sounds. In such cases, press the reset button on the Gaia Memory.
• If a malfunction occurs, press the reset button and then turn the power on again.

!! Do not insert fingers !!

When attaching Gaia Memories, be careful not to insert fingers into the slots as shown in the diagram. You may get injured.

First Play Instructions

To begin playing:

1. Pull the insulation sheet from the battery cover on the back of each Gaia Memory in the direction of the arrow [arrow].
2. Lightly press the reset button with a thin, pointed object.

Battery Replacement

※ This must be performed by a guardian.

If the product malfunctions, press the reset button.

If the sound becomes quieter, repeats, or the LED response is poor, replace all batteries with new ones.

1. Remove the battery cover.
2. Insert batteries: Remove the old button batteries and insert 3 new button batteries (LR44, sold separately), paying attention to the orientation: the top side should be positive (+) and the bottom side should be negative (-).
3. Replace the battery cover: Align the protrusion on the battery cover with the groove on the main unit, and secure by turning the screw in the opposite direction of removal.
4. Press the reset button with a thin, pointed object.

Notes:

• Requires 3 x LR44 button batteries (sold separately).
• The included batteries are for testing purposes.

Double Driver Assembly Instructions

1. Attaching Belt (Right/Left)

Pay attention to the front and back of the belt. Align the buckle's female joint with the belt's male joint (R for right, L for left). Push until it clicks securely.

• Ensure the "R" marking is on the right side and the "L" marking is on the left side.
• If the male joints are misaligned or tilted, the belt may detach. Confirm that the male joints are securely clicked into place.

2. Attaching Belt Keeper

Thread the Belt Keeper through the Belt (Left) until it is fully inserted.

3. Adjusting Belt

Secure the Belt Keeper with a click sound.

4. Adjusting Belt (Continued)

Attach the two protrusions on the Belt Keeper to the corresponding holes on the Belt (Left). Adjust the position so that the overlapping section of the Belt (Right/Left) is covered.

5. Attaching Maximum Slot

Hook the tabs on the back of the Maximum Slot onto the Belt (Right).

Assembly Complete!

Belt Removal Instructions

1. While simultaneously pressing both the top and bottom buttons on the Belt (Right),
2. Pull the Belt (Right) in the direction indicated by the arrow [arrow] to remove it.

Part Names

Double Driver:

Maximum Slot:

• Gaia Memory Slot (Insertion Port)
• Maximum Slot Button

Gaia Memory:

• Button: Pressing the button on the Gaia Memory makes its name sound.
• Terminal: The color of the terminal varies depending on the attribute.

Gaia Memory Slot Details:

• Silver Terminal: Insert into Slot (Right).
• Gold Terminal: Insert into Slot (Left).

The Gaia Memories are: Luna Memory, Heat Memory, Cyclone Memory, Joker Memory, Metal Memory, Trigger Memory.

Transformation Play

Start with the completed Double Driver.

1. Inserting Gaia Memory

Insert the Gaia Memory into Slot (Right/Left) until it clicks. A standby sound will play.

• Note: The side with the sticker is the front surface.
• Match the terminal color to the slot color for insertion.

2. Extending Slot (Right/Left)

Move the Slot (Right/Left) in the direction indicated by the arrow [arrow] until it clicks. The light sensor will glow, and the transformation sound will play.

! If the slots are already extended, the transformation sound may not play correctly.

To return to the original state, perform the reverse procedure.

Gaia Memory Removal

Pull the Gaia Memory out in the reverse direction of insertion. A removal sound will play.

! Troubleshooting: If one side of the extended slot is misaligned, move only that side to return it to its original position.

Form Change Play

Start with Gaia Memories inserted into Slot (Right/Left).

1. Replacing Gaia Memory

Pull out the Gaia Memory from Slot (Right/Left). A removal sound will play.

Insert the Gaia Memory you wish to swap in. A standby sound corresponding to the Gaia Memory will play.

Move the Slot (Right/Left) in the direction indicated by the arrow [arrow] until it clicks. The light sensor will glow, and the transformation sound will play.

Gaia Memory Combinations and Transformation Sounds

Finishing Move Play

Start with Gaia Memories inserted into Slot (Right/Left).

1. Pulling out Gaia Memory

Pull out the Gaia Memory. A removal sound will play. Hold it firmly while doing so.

Insert the removed Gaia Memory into the Maximum Slot. A voice line and finishing move standby sound will play.

Press the Maximum Slot button while the standby sound is playing. A finishing move sound will play. Push until it clicks.
